Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge

The three miles of trails around Sachuest Point near Second Beach provides an opportunity to experience a variety of plants and animals, hear the crashing of the ocean waves along the rocky shoreline, and take in unobstructed views of the refuge. This peaceful walk is one of our favorites, and we highly recommend!

Ocean Drive Historic District

A trip to Newport isn't complete until you make a drive along the iconic Ocean Drive. Start your journey at the historic Bellevue Avenue and continue along by the Gilded Age mansions, Hammersmith Farm where Jackie Kennedy grew up, and Gooseberry Beach. The mansions and views you'll pass are breathtaking in all seasons!
