Derek and Amanda met while in high school and have been enjoying life together ever since. Celebrating their 12 year anniversary in 2022, they look forward to spending many more years together.


After high school, Derek went off to MSOE and Amanda went to UW-Milwaukee, just 10 minutes from one another. They moved in together once Derek finished his degree in Engineering and Amanda was starting her clinicals in Radiology. After 5 years of living in apartments together, they decided to buy a house in May 2021. They have been working on their new house, making it feel like a home for them and their lovely cat (Taffy).


They enjoy traveling together whether it be out of the country or north of their home town. They enjoy going to music festivals, hiking in any terrain or climate, rock climbing and tour breweries for a good beer.
