Derek decided after 11 years with Amanda that now was the time to get married. On June 17th, 2021 Derek asked Amanda in Miami Beach, FL. They were at Casa Isola Osteria having a lovely dinner when Derek popped the question over dessert.

After some thought about the wedding, Derek and Amanda decided why not have the wedding on our already anniversary of June 10th. So on our wedding day, it will be our 13th year anniversary- luckily we are not superstitious.
