Cheboygan, Michigan is located about 20 minutes east of the Mackinac Bridge and Mackinaw City where the ferries depart for Mackinac Island. From Detroit- a 4 hour drive. From Traverse City- a 2 hour drive. From Grand Rapids- a 4 hour drive. From Chicago- a 6 hour drive.

Your best bet for the shortest drive to Cheboygan is Pellston Regional Airport (PLN) which is about 20 minutes away and services Delta flights each day to and from Detroit. STARTING IN MAY UNITED AIRLINES WILL NOW BE SERVICING FLIGHTS FROM CHICAGO AS WELL! Chippewa International Airport (CIU) is located in the upper peninsula of Michigan and is a 1 hour drive with Delta flights to and from Detroit and Minneapolis. STARTING IN MAY UNITED AIRLINES WILL NOW BE SERVICING FLIGHTS FROM CHICAGO AS WELL! Cherry Capital Airport (TVC) in Traverse City has a few more airline options and is just under 2 hours from Cheboygan/Mackinaw City. Larger airports include Detroit International Airport (DTW) and Grand Rapids International Airport (GRR) which are around 4 hours away.

We have arranged for a shuttle/trolly service from the hotels listed in our travel section to the reception. Parking will be available at both the ceremony as well as the reception if you do choose to drive. Once you receive your official invitation and RSVP instructions we ask that you do so prior to July 1st.

The wedding ceremony will be held at Saint Marys Saint Charles Catholic Church in Cheboygan. Please be sure to silence and put away your phones during the service.

The welcome reception is open to ALL invited guests. We hope you can join us for a relaxed evening of food, music, games, and a chance visit with friends and family prior to the big day!

The wedding ceremony will be an indoor ceremony held at Saint Marys Saint Charles Catholic Church. The wedding reception as well as the welcome reception will be held under a tent at the Paull Residence. Despite the early August date and our hopes of a warm wonderful day, the property sits on Lake Huron, resulting in slightly cooler temperatures than you would experience in downtown Cheboygan. We will primarily be on grass, for guests wearing heels.

Yes. Appetizers and an open bar once you arrive! A buffet style dinner at 6:30pm followed by cake/desserts.

You may have an hour or two between the wedding ceremony and reception. Head back to your hotels, gear up for a night of celebration, and be ready at 4:30pm/4:45pm if you are hopping on a shuttle!.
