(Niagara falls?!) And we'll add more as we get closer to the big date. Note that the wedding celebrations start on Monday August 4th at 3pm and run until brunch on Wednesday August 6th - we'd love you to join for all of it if you can! Our Wedding

Travel &amp; Accommodation at a glance: We’re getting married near a lovely town in Burgundy called Sens. If you're travelling from the UK, we recommend taking the Eurostar. For accommodation in Sens: we've secured a special rate at the Epona hotel. See below for more options.

The easiest way to get to the venue from abroad is via Paris, so you can either take the <a href="https://www.eurostar.com/uk-en" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Eurostar</a> to Paris Gare du Nord or fly to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. If you're in the UK, we strongly recommend taking the Eurostar as it takes you closer to the heart of Paris where the train connections go from. And also, you know... saving the planet.

It's Plane You Should Train

Once in Paris, head to Sens, a lovely medieval town in the North Burgundy. Two ways to get there: 1. Take a train Paris (Gare de Lyon or Gare de Bercy) direct to the heart of Sens (89100) (use citymapper to get around Paris). We recommend booking the 9:21 or 11: 35am train from Paris Bercy, arriving in time for you to have lunch in the lovely time. <a href="https://www.thetrainline.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Book those on Trainline</a>. 2. Rent a car and drive down. The drive takes approximately 1hr45. Having a car will allow you a bit more freedom during your stay, but we'll provide shuttle buses on the 4th and 5th August, and details of local taxis for the 6th. If you're planning a roadtrip (to the wine region!) before or after the wedding, you can rent a car directly in Sens.

Making Sens Of It

We've arranged a special rate for our wedding guests at the new Epona Hotel, a gorgeous four stars in the heart of Sens. Book on their website using the promo code BRESSAND to benefit from our discount. (Double room with breakfast and early check-in from 2pm for 163€ per night (~£136). --&gt; Shuttle buses will leave from/return to the Boulevard 2 min from the hote. Since Sens is a fairly small town, you should only be a 10-15min walk away if you're staying anywhere else in the town center (e.g., Airbnb or other hotel).

Where To Rest Your Sleepy Heads

If you're after a simpler hotel, then The Archotel is a great option. It is a 10min walk from Epona hotel, so there'll be no issue staggering back to the Archotel after being dropped off by the Epona on the wedding night. There are also a number of charming AirBnbs in the town - some with the beautiful architecture showcased above. The shuttle buses will always leave and return to the Epona Hotel, so you might want to ensure you're not a million miles from there!

Alternative Hotels

(Please note: the shuttle bus will NOT look like this ^^^^) The wedding venue is about a 30-minute drive from Sens, so we'll provide complimentary shuttle buses on both Monday and Tuesday for ease of access. Activities commence on Monday Aug. 4th at 3.30pm at the wedding venue. Shuttle buses will depart from Boulevard des Garibaldi, 89100 Sens at 3:00pm and 3:30pm. The shuttle buses cannot wait at this location, so please aim to be there by 2:45pm and 3:15pm respectively. The bus will return to Sens that same day, departing around 10 pm. On Tuesday Aug. 5th, we'll also provide shuttle buses leaving Sens at 2pm and 2:20pm from Boulevard des Garibaldi, 89100 Sens. So please be there 15 minutes ahead of the departure time. Shuttle buses will return to Sens, departing from the venue at midnight, 1:30am. and 3am. We'll also share the contact details of taxis if you want to go home outside these hours. All shuttle buses will depart and return from/to Boulevard des Garibaldi, 89100 Sens - near the Épona hotel.

Travel & Accommodation

Amandine and Liam’s eyes first met across Niagara Falls, a deep red sunset sliding out of sight, as the water gushed... Hinge. We met on the dating app Hinge.&nbsp; It started with a home wine tasting in Finsbury Park. Liam bought the wines and Amandine was impressed. Love at first sip. Then Liam shared his Tonsillitis with her (the first of Liam’s fourteen bouts of Tonsillitis during their relationship)*. Amandine was late to their second date (very late) but Liam waited (he says it was worth it). Then they went on a six-hour-long adventure from a drink at the Canonbury Tavern, to dinner at the Faltering Fullback, ending with a boogie at Dalston Superstore. And they both knew it was the start of something special. Then came a beautiful Christmas, an early decision to move in together, the arrival of multiple plant babies, attending 50,000 weddings the moment we tipped into our thirties... Then Liam reached day number 831 of his French learning streak on Duolingo and, in the South of France, got down on one knee to ask Amandine to extend that streak for life (and join the Bressand clan forever).&nbsp; And now they want to celebrate with you. FR: Malheureusement, non - c'est un événement sans enfants. Sauf les bébés de moins d'un an, qui sont les bienvenus !

FR: À moins que votre proche ne soit spécifié(e) sur votre invitation, nous ne pouvons malheureusement pas inviter vos +1.

FR: Nous souhaitons célébrer notre mariage sur deux jours plutôt qu'un seul, nous avons donc prévu un après-midi et une soirée d'activités le lundi. Cela commencera par une série de jeux de pelouse et il y a aussi une petite piscine, alors apportez un maillot de bain si vous avez envie de faire un petit plongeon. En soirée, le code vestimentaire est chic et décontracté, alors enfilez une chemise d'été ou une robe légère (et un pull au cas où il ferait frais) - pour donner au Café du Théâtre le respect qu'il mérite ! Il y a de nombreux endroits privés pour faire un changement de costume.

FR: C'est le grand jour: faites vous beaux ! Jouez l'elegance, et osez la couleur !! Portez une tenue qui vous fait sentir fabuleux(se) (et qui ne vous contraigne aucunement pour danser, bien sûr). Notez que certains moments de la cérémonie nécessitent de marcher sur l'herbe.

FR: Venez decontracté.e, comme vous le sentez ! Si vous avez survécu, vous avez gagné le droit de vous présenter en pyjama, on ne vous jugera pas.

FR: Oui, il y a beaucoup de places de parking gratuites sur place pour ceux qui choisissent de conduire. Cependant, nous mettrons à votre disposition des navettes aller-retour pour Sens la veille et le jour du mariage. Nous vous fournirons également les coordonnées des taxis, au cas où vous souhaiteriez partir plus tôt (ou même rester plus tard...) le soir du mariage, ou pour vous rendre au brunch le lendemain matin.

FR: Qu'il pleuve ou qu'il vente, la fete aura lieu !! Nous avons prevu de nombreux plans B, dont des espaces intérieurs pour dîner et danser.

FR: Nous avons trouvé une photographe et un vidéaste incroyables, et nous ADORERIONS qu'ils ne prennent pas mille photos de vous tenant un portable. Meme si vous êtes doué avec un appareil photo (range ton CESAR, Tom…), pas de photos (au moins pendant la cérémonie).

Pool Party & Café du Théâtre

Lundi 4 aout 202515:00–23:00Tenue: Chic &amp; décontractée ("smart-casual") Les festivités commencent par un après-midi de détente au domaine, autour d'un rafraîchissement au bord de la piscine ou de jeux sur gazon. Un dîner vous sera servi pour accompagner notre propre "Café du Théâtre" ! Suivi d'un... retour à la maison. Nous vous souhaitons une forme optimale mardi ! --&gt; Une navette conduira les invité.es logeants à Sens au domaine dans l'après-midi (~ 14:30pm, à confirmer) et retourna à Sens à 22 heures.

Jour du mariage

Mardi 5 aout 202514:30–03:00Tenue: Elégants/es et coloré/és La cérémonie de mariage débutera à 15h30. Une fois le contrat de mariage scellé et la ceremonie terminée, c'est l'heure du vin d'honneur - suivi du dîner. Ensuite, place à la danse ! --&gt; Une navette emmènera tous les invité.e.s depuis Sens jusqu'au lieu de la cérémonie, (~14/15h, à confirmer). Des navettes et des taxis repartiront vers le centre ville de Sens à différents moments de la soirée.

Le Brunch

Mecredi 6 aout 202510h30–15h00Tenue : Décontractée/s Vous avez survécu aux agapes de la veille !! Profitez du soleil et d'un bon café pour débriefer, en vous regalant de croissants et en repensant aux moments mémorables de la nuit précédente... --&gt; Notez qu'aucune navette ne sera assurée de Sens au lieu de l'événement, mais des taxis seront disponibles pour ceux qui n'ont pas de voiture.

Can we bring the kids with us?

We want to celebrate our wedding over two days rather than one, so have prepared an afternoon and evening of activities on the Monday. It will begin with an array of lawn games and there is also a small pool, so bring a swimming outfit if you fancy a little dip. As we move into the evening, the dress code is smart-casual, so throw on a summery shirt or light dress (and a sweater in case it gets chilly) - to give the Cafe du Theatre the respect it deserves! There are plenty of private places to do a cheeky costume change. Bust out those glad rags (smart clothes for native French speakers) but keep it colourful and fun! DRESS TO EXPRESS! Wear something that makes you feel fabulous (and that you can boogie in, of course). Worth mentioning, sections of the wedding including the ceremony require walking on grass. So stilettos might not be the one, particularly if the ground is a little soft. FR: Sortez vos beaux habits mais restez coloré et fun ! Portez quelque chose qui vous fait vous sentir fabuleuse (et dans laquelle vous pouvez danser, bien sûr). Notez que certaines parties du mariage, y compris la cérémonie, nécessitent de marcher sur l'herbe. Les talons aiguilles ne sont donc peut-être pas la meilleure option.

What's the dress code for brunch on the 6th? / Quel est le code vestimentaire pour le brunch du 6 ?

Anything you want! If you've made it this far, you've earned the right to turn up in your Pikachu onesie and Bugs Bunny slippers. No judgement from us. FR: Tout ce que vous voulez ! Is there parking at the venue? / Y a-t-il un parking sur place ?

There is more than enough free parking at the venue for those who choose to drive. However, we will be providing shuttle buses to and from Sens for the day before and the day of the wedding. We will also provide details of taxis in due course, in case you want to sneak off earlier (or indeed stay later...) on the wedding night, or to get yourselves to brunch the morning after. What happens if it rains? / Que se passe-t-il s'il pleut ?

If it rains, then we will party TWICE AS HARD. Seriously, we have plenty of contingency plans in place including indoor areas to dine and dance, and probably a marquee as well. So come rain, storm or flood, the show will go on. FR: S'il pleut, nous ferons la fête DEUX FOIS PLUS FORT. On a prevu des plans B, dont des espaces intérieurs pour dîner et danser - donc, qu'il pleuve ou qu'il neige, on fera la fête !

Can we ruin all your wedding photos by taking our own? / Pouvons-nous gâcher toutes vos photos de mariage en prenant les nôtres ?

We have spent the cost of a car for someone to take photos of us for a few hours. We would LOVE them not take a thousand photos of you taking a photo of us. We don’t care who you are or how good you think you are with a camera (put your BAFTA away, mate…), they will be better. So for the ceremony at least, please switch your phones off.
