A guy (Chris) walks into bar... it was Club Rodeo in San Jose, CA and we were there with friends to see Love & Theft perform on a Thursday night.

Amelia was at the concert with her friend watching line dancing before the show began when Chris and his friend walked up to their table. They began chatting which led to lots of story sharing, laughter, smiles, and eventually exchanging numbers.

After several weeks of playing hard to get, Amelia and Chris had their first real date, another country concert at San Jose State. Prior to the concert, Amelia invited Chris to casually join her at the Capitol Club for a pre-concert drink... where they'd be accompanied by her mother and grandmother- every guys dream. Chris clearly liked Amelia as he agreed to meet her family on their first date and then proceeded to the venue where they swayed to Lorna Alaina, Dustin Lynch, and Cole Swindell for hours (without the fambam).

The two instantly hit it off and spent every single weekend from then on together going on adventures including hikes, beer tasting at breweries, the Winchester Mystery House, and even a Sacramento Kings game.

At the end of 2019, Chris and Amelia took their first international trip together to South America. They explored Chile, Argentina, and Uruguay over a two week period where they visited many cities, taking in the the local cuisine and culture, as well as the phenomenal landscapes including Patagonia.

Since then, they continue to make international travel a priority and have now been to Austria, Croatia, and Indonesia. During the pandemic, they decided to travel through the US to visit as many National Parks as possible and experience the north/midwest including North and South Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, Utah, and Idaho.

Having a shared love and passion for adventure and travel, Chris and Amelia decided that the most fitting place to begin and celebrate their marriage is none other than Argentina!
