Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

During the ceremony, we kindly ask that all phones, tablets, & cameras be put away. We've hired professional photographers and videographers to capture this time that means so much to us. Please be present with us during that time and allow our hired professionals to do their jobs. We promise to share ALL those photos and videos with you. -- After the ceremony, absolutely! In fact we have hired a social media team to attend our wedding and help us capture all of the content! Be on the look out for them and be sure to use #letsgetkaczy or tag our wedding Insta @letsgetkaczy so that we can all see your memories

What should I wear?

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire cowboy boots and cowboys hats welcomed. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a dress shirt and dark jeans or slacks.

Tips for the ladies

Keep in mind that our ceremony and cocktail hour are outdoors and on grass, so a wedge or block heel would be helpful for you. We will be inside for dinner and the reception. Bridesmaids will be in dusty sage green if you'd like to stay away from long dresses in that color and obviously... No white dresses...but I'm sure y'all already knew that ;) - Rea

Are kids welcome?

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Is it outdoors? What will the weather be like?

Our ceremony & cocktail hour will be outdoors. Our reception and dinner will be indoors. The weather in May in Austin is beautiful. The average high temperature in Austin on our wedding day is mid 80s the average low is in the mid 60s.

Are the Ceremony & Reception at the same location?

Yep!

What should I do if I can’t make it?

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “decline” so we can plan accordingly.

When should I arrive?

We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

How do I get to the Venue?

10601 B Derecho Dr, Austin, TX 78737 -- From Downtown Austin take I-35 South to US-290 West. Travel for approximately 11 miles and turn left on B Derecho Dr. After a little over a mile you will see the sign for Pecan Springs Ranch

Transportation

We have secured bus transportation from the Fairmont Hotel, Holiday Inn Express Austin SW-Sunset Valley and Hampton Inn Austin Oak/Hill. If you’re not staying at one of the listed hotels you are still welcome on a bus to the wedding. We recommend getting to the Fairmont Austin bus pick up at 2:30 pm. This will alleviate an influx of rideshare ordering at the end of the night at the wedding venue and you will be dropped off downtown where Uber/Lyfts will be more available. If you're not getting on a bus, we recommend taking an Uber or a Lyft. We want everyone to have a good time and to be safe.

Parking?

We HIGHLY recommend taking the bus or an Uber or Lyft, but for those of you driving, there is plenty of free on premise parking.

When is the RSVP deadline? How do I RSVP?

Please RSVP yes or no by March 1st on the front of this website you will see a button to RSVP

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Yep! Please choose your dinner entree item during the RSVP process. There will be an open bar throughout the celebration and passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour.

I still have questions

Just ask!
