Andrew is a lifelong Bellevue resident and Blessie has been writing trip itineraries for over a decade. Together, we have decided to help you make the most out of your time in the PNW!
- Opens at 7 am: breakfast/brunch at Ludi's, a family-run Filipino diner. Their ube pancakes are to DIE FOR. Note that it is only a weekend offering.
- Explore Pike Place Market and its surrounding shops. Our favorite shops to browse are Post Alley Kids, Sur La Table, the various flower vendors, Truffle Queen, Metsker Maps, and DeLaurenti Food & Wine. If you're hungry as you're walking, we find that Piroshky Piroshky, Beecher's, Pike Place Chowder, Tiny's Organic Apple Cider, The Crumpet Shop, and Hellenika are reliable. Stop by the gum wall and browse the Alaskan Way waterfront via the new Overlook Walk.
- Drive up to Seattle Center for the most iconic attractions- the Space Needle and Chihuly Garden and Glass.
- Chill at Lake Union Park to see seaplanes take off/land! You can also see some cool boats docked at the harbor.
- Drive to Kerry Park for that Seattle postcard view! Nearby Parsons Gardens is gorgeous as well.
- We highly recommend Bangrak Market in Belltown for dinner. It is some of the best Thai food we have ever had.
One day itinerary, plus...
- Breakfast pastries at Bakery Nouveau on Cap Hill (unless it's a Monday or Tuesday) OR Pinoyshki Bakery and Cafe for a Filipino twist on piroshkies. For Nouveau, do yourself a favor and PLEASE enjoy twice baked almond croissants for us. For Pinoyshki, get one of their Filipino flavors. They go fast, and for great reason.
- Starbucks Reserve is well worth it. Whether you're a coffeeholic or not, you'll enjoy this place.
- The Capitol Hill Wishing Tree is a really sweet spot.
- Pay your respects to Bruce Lee & Brandon Lee at their gravesite at Lake View Cemetery.
- Enjoy the Volunteer Park Conservatory.
- Head back to Cap Hill for lunch at Biang Biang Noodles, Ooink, or Kedai Makan.
- Broadway in Cap Hill has cool bookstores and shops that you can browse around. As you're walking around, get dessert from Salt & Straw and/or Hot Cakes!
- Drive over to International District's Uwajimaya. Enjoy browsing the aisles and walking to the adjacent Kinokuniya.
- Check out Mam's Books, a local Asian American owned bookstore.
- If it's a Wednesday-Saturday, visit the Wing Luke Museum for the Bruce Lee Exhibit.
- Get takeout charsiu from Kau Kau to enjoy back at your accomodation!
Two day itinerary, plus...
- Go back to Pike Place Market/its surrounding area for breakfast/coffee.
- Check out The Amazon Spheres. You can even snag a free banana out front!
- Check out Seattle Public Library. Its 11 floors are truly a marvel to wander through.
- Drive on to the Bainbridge to Seattle ferry. It'll be a ~35 minute ride.
- For lunch, consider Proper Fish for fish and chips, Ba Sa for Vietnamese-French fusion, or The Streamliner Diner for American diner food.
- Stroll down Winslow Way E and check out the various shops! Blessie's personal favorite shop is Lively Olive Tasting bar, where you'll find premium olive oil and balsamic vinegar varieties.
- If you need an afternoon pick-me-up, head to Pegasus Coffee.
- While you're in the area, a walk along the Winslow Wharf Marina is a nice time.
- Drive to Sakai Park and meet Pia the Peacekeeper- Bainbridge Island's Troll created by Thomas Dambo.
- Drive to Bloedel Reserve and enjoy the gorgeous grounds of the mansion.
- Head back on the Bainbridge to Seattle ferry. As you're approaching Seattle, you'll want to have your camera ready for the views of the city skyline!
- Visit The Pink Door for Italian food, Onibaba for Japanese food, or Taylor Shellfish Oyster Bar in Pioneer Square for dinner.
Three day itinerary, plus...
- Breakfast at Farine Bakery & Cafe, Semicolon Cafe, or Blazing Bagels in Bellevue.
- Visit Snoqualmie Falls. The famous 270 foot waterfall has multiple viewing decks and is easily accessible for all.
- Hike to Franklin Falls, an easy 2 mile out and back trail.
- Drive to the Leavenworth Reindeer Farm. The reindeer are so cute!
- Drive over to Leavenworth's Front Street and enjoy the magic of a German town. Park near here!
- We recommend München Haus, Andreas Keller German Restaurant, or Blewett Brewing for lunch.
- For dessert, you need to stop by the Gingerbread Factory. For all of you non-gingerbread fans, don't worry, there's other desserts too.
- Take up the adrenaline at Leavenworth Adventure Park. We really enjoy the alpine coaster there!
- Drive back to Seattle. On the way back, have dinner in Bellevue- Looking for Chai for Taiwanese food, Haidilao for hot pot, or Tendon Kohaku for Japanese food.
Four day itinerary, plus...
- Breakfast at Geraldine's Counter in South Seattle- their pancake and french toast specials are great! Make sure to fuel up on snacks and drinks because there won't be much during today's adventure...
- The Mount Rainier Gondola at Crystal Mountain Resort- that's right, this is a Mount Rainier day! Take the gondola up 2400 feet to see gorgeous views of Mount Rainier and Mount Saint Helens. If you're hungry up top, Summit House Restaurant is decent.
- Enter Mount Rainier National Park from the Southwest Nisqually entrance at 39000 State Route 706 E, Ashford, WA 98304.
- After driving 4.5 miles east on Stevens Canyon Road, pull over after crossing a stone bridge to view Christine Falls.
- Drive to the Narada Falls parking lot and go on a moderate hike 0.2 miles out and back ~8 minutes for the best view of the waterfall.
- Drive up Paradise Valley Road E.
- Check out Myrtle Falls via the Skyline Trail, a 0.9 mile, out and back ~25 minute moderate hike.
- Come back down the road and check out Reflection Lakes.
- That's a wrap on the Mount Rainier day! On the way back, stop for dinner in Federal Way at Kwan Tip Thai, Kum Kang San BBQ Grill Buffet, or East India Grill.

via ferry...
- Opens at 9 am: brunch at Secret Congee in Ballard. We love their garlic blue crab congee, Whidbey island cod and Chinese herbs congee, and their tom yum lobster congee.
- Take the Edmonds to Kingston ferry and drive west towards Sequim.
via car...
- For breakfast in Tacoma, Pacific Southern or Marcia's Silver Spoon Cafe are good choices.
- Continue northwest towards Sequim.
Regardless of how you got to the peninsula, we can continue on this way...
- Lunch recs: Salty Girls- Sequim Seafood, Sawadee Thai Cuisine, or Pacific Pantry Eatery for sandwiches.
- Graysmarsh Farm has u-pick berries and a mini lavender farm. Pick some loganberries, blackberries, raspberries, and blueberries here! They'll be perfect for the remainder of the day :)
- Jardin du Soleil Lavender Farm will be the first lavender farm of your Sequim lavender trip! They have u-cut lavender, millions of photo ops, lavender-infused treats, and homemade lavender goods.
- In Bloom Lavender Farms will be your second lavender farm. It's a family-owned and operated farm, and it looks so cute with a kids play area, photo ops, and a u-cut section.
- Dungeness Valley Creamery is a working dairy with homemade ice cream. We've personally never been here, but it sure looks fire.
- Olympic Game Farm is a wild animal drive-thru and looks like an insane, wildly cool experience.
- B & B Lavender Farm will be your last lavender farm of your Sequim trip. It's the largest farm and has free educational tours of how they make their lavender products all summer long.
- Head on back east and get drive-thru food wherever your heart desires!
Six day itinerary, plus...
- Breakfast at Sunrise Restaurant (American-Latin diner fare) or Retreat (for healthy bowls and smoothies)
- Stroll around the Woodland Park Rose Garden. It should be lovely at this time of year.
- Visit the Woodland Park Zoo! It's spread out over 92 acres and is home to around 800 animals.
- Word has it that Paseo is legendary for Cuban sandwiches and Musashi's has great chirashi bowls. Pick up either (or both! LOL) for lunch.
- Walk around Green Lake. You can also swim, rent out stand up paddleboards, kayaks, and paddle boats from here.
- Pop on over to UW. Suzzallo Library is really reminiscent of Harry Potter. Feel free to meander around the rest of the campus as you wish, too! Drumheller Fountain is gorgeous when turned on. There, you'll see an unobstructed view of Mount Rainier.
- Make your way back west to Gas Works Park. It's a super popular picnic spot amongst Seattlites because of its perspective of the Seattle city skyline, plus there's ample room to spread out!
- Visit the Fremont Troll.
- For dinner, choose between Uneeda Burger, Cafe Turko, or 19 GOLD for Taiwanese food.
- Stroll along the Burke-Gilman Trail to walk the calories off hehe
