The San Juan Islands are one of the best places in the world to see Orca whales! They live in the San Juan Island waters year-round with the most sightings between May and October.

The San Juan Islands are known as a premier kayaking destination. Kayak rentals and tours are available in both Friday Harbor and Roche Harbor.

Lavender fields will be at their peak color in early August! Pelindaba Lavender Farm is a great place to take photos and shop for lavender products.
