We had spoke online for about a month before actually meeting up. Logan had asked me about my job, and quickly discovered how passionate I was about therapy and mental health! We both had weddings to attend but in different states, and then I got bit by a poisonous spider, so that delayed us meeting up a bit! Our first date was at Moon Hollow Brewing, in Blacksburg, on June 1st, 2023. Logan and I spoke for hours, way past the last call (sorry staff!) and were the last to leave. I left that night thinking I met someone really special. I quickly called my mom, waking her up (sorry mom!) to tell her about the date. A few days later, I heard "Mine" by Taylor Swift on the radio. As corny as it was, it felt like it had different lyrics for the first time and the meaning had changed for me. It was driving in my car that I truly felt like I had met the one, and I was right.
