Also, while we know gifts are traditional, Tyler insists that gifts are redundant if you travel--so keep that in mind. Your attendance is more than enough whether or not you live in the area! We do NOT want this wedding to put any financial stress on you. At all! Really.

You can also give to Planned Parenthood in our name, if that's more your speed. And in case you're interested, a percentage of all gifts you purchase online through the Knot will go to Lambda Legal (e.g., if you get us a gift through our Amazon registry). The two of us have it pretty easy entering into a heterosexual union, and we want to make sure we reflect on that privilege. As many people have pointed out, queer people should have the right to make themselves miserable planning a wedding too!
