Please read our Q&A for any questions you may have. If your question is not answered below, feel free to reach out to Annie or Jace directly!
What is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP directly through our website by June 15 so we can have an accurate headcount and ensure the best experience for all guests!
Can I bring a date?
Your RSVP will indicate the total number of guests included with your invitation, dates and children included.
Can I bring my kids?
Your RSVP will indicate the total number of guests included with your invitation, dates and children included. Due to the capacity of our venue, we unfortunately are only able to invite children of family members.
What time should we arrive for the wedding ceremony?
We are asking all guests to arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony time. The ceremony will commence promptly at 5pm. Late guests will NOT be permitted inside the ceremony space. Additionally, please note there will not be restrooms available near the chapel space so please plan accordingly!
Where should we stay during our visit?
Please see the Travel tab for our airport and hotel recommendations. We highly encourage all guests to stay at our room block in downtown Dallas for transportation purposes!
How far is the venue from the recommended hotels?
Downtown Dallas is a 30 minute drive to the venue in Waxahachie. We will be providing an optional shuttle for any guests staying in Dallas.
If you choose to stay in Waxahachie, the hotel will be about a 15 minute drive from the venue. You will be responsible for coordinating your own transportation.
What are the details for the shuttles?
Please indicate on your RSVP whether you will be using the shuttle service. This will be provided only for guests staying at our room block hotel in Dallas (not for guests staying in Waxahachie). On the day of the event, shuttles will begin boarding outside the hotel at 3:15PM and will leave for the venue by 3:45PM. Following the event, you will have the option to return to the hotel on the 9:30PM early bus or the 11PM bus; however, please note all buses may be changed to 11PM departure dependent on majority guest preference.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
The wedding ceremony will take place at the indoor chapel, with the cocktail hour occuring in the outdoor courtyard directly following the ceremony. The reception will primarily be indoors, but there will be additional opportunities to spend time outside if you wish.
What should I wear?
The official attire is Cocktail; please see our Dress Code page for detailed information. Thank you for respecting and contributing to our vision for our big day!
What will the weather be like?
Welcome to Dallas, out-of-towners! The weather will be hot; however, this is why we opted for an indoor ceremony and reception. Please see the Dress Code section for wedding attire. You will want to bring all summer attire (shorts, tank tops, sundresses) for your stay in Dallas.
Where should I park at the event?
There will be ample parking on-site at the venue if you choose to drive. You will drive past the ceremony chapel and see a large parking lot near the reception building.
However, we highly encourage guests who will be drinking to either stay at our hotel block in downtown Dallas and utilize our shuttle service or utilize a rideshare if staying in Waxahachie.
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
We request that our ceremony is device-free; however, we would love for you to capture your favorite moments at the cocktail hour and reception!
We will also have a dedicated "photo moment" where you will be able to take a photo with the bride and groom.
What food will be served at the wedding?
We are excited to be offering selections from our favorite Italian restaurant at our wedding reception! Please indicate on your invitation if you have any dietary restrictions so we can work with the catering team to accommodate.
Will there be an open bar?
We will have an open bar with beer, wine and sodas. We encourage all guests to drink responsibly!
Where should we send our wedding gift?
Wedding gifts are never required, but much appreciated! If you would like to honor our marriage with a gift, please see our wishlist on the Registry tab. We recommend shipping directly to our address but there will also be a gift table at the reception.
