Q + A

Can I bring my kids?

Absolutely! We would love for your young ones to join us! We understand how difficult it can be to find adequate care, especially since many of our guests don't live in Colorado or even in the mountains, so we encourage you to bring your children! Unless you don't want to bring them. It's up to you.

What is the dress code?

Semi-formal. Men are encouraged to wear suits and women are encouraged to wear a dress or dressy separates.

What shoes should I bring with me?

This is ultimately up to you. Just remember that you will be at a high elevation where it snows. There is no predicting what the weather can be like. It could be snowing or it could be warm and sunny. Prepare accordingly.

What will the weather be like?

No one knows. It's the mountains. It will be a dry cold, but bringing along appropriate layers is very wise.

Can I take photos?

The bride would prefer all the attention be on her. If you really want to take pictures during the ceremony, just don't get in anyone's way.

Can I bring a date?

If it said "and guest" when you RSVP'd, then yes!

Will there be alcohol?

The bride is Scottish. So yes, there will be alcohol at the reception.

Will there be pot?

Just because it's Colorado does not mean there will be pot at the wedding. There is no smoking or drugs or alcohol allowed at the church and no smoking or drugs allowed in the reception venue. If you insist on smoking, you can do it outside. And if you smell like weed, you will not be allowed anywhere near the bride because she does not want the smell of it to linger on her on her wedding day.
