Wedding Party

Annika McIntosh
Annika McIntosh - Bride
The bride currently works part-time at Bath & Body Works and as a Registered Behavioral Therapist, working primarily with kids who have ASD. She has done a lot of DIY stuff for her wedding.
Ashley Robbins
Ashley Robbins - Matron of Honor
Ashley is James' sister-in-law. She put a lot of work into helping James become a man worthy of being Annika's husband. She has also been incredibly helpful to the bride and they have grown very close. They also share a love of fruity alcoholic beverages. (She is married to Donald, the Best Man, and is the mother to Wesley, one of the ring bearers, and Joanna and Natalie, both of the flower girls.)
Alyssa Ferris
Alyssa Ferris - Bridesmaid
Alyssa and Annika first met during a game of sardines being played by a bunch of theatre kids at Colorado Christian University. They later bonded over many things, one of them being that they both have moms who are teachers and each attended a small school where her respective mother taught. They also share a love of peach moscato. (She is married to Dylan, one of the groomsmen, and is the mother of Liam, one of the ring bearers.)
Gavy Sipion
Gavy Sipion - Bridesmaid
Gavy and the bride first met at the Colorado Christian University Music Center during dance class. Both the bride and Gavy are diagnosed neurodivergents (They even take the same medication!) and have performed in many shows together, including Oklahoma!, Peter and the Starcatcher, and Guys and Dolls. Gavy also performed a monologue the bride wrote for a one-act festival.
James Robbins
James Robbins - Groom
James was honorably discharged as a Lance Corporal from the United States Marine Corp after five years of service. His time in the Marine Corp infantry as a trigger puller included a tour in Afghanistan during Operation: Enduring Freedom. He then joined the National Guard while getting his bachelor's degree. Currently retired from the military, he serves his community as a police officer and was the Top Shot in his police academy class.
Donald Robbins
Donald Robbins - Best Man
Donald is James' twin brother and his very best friend. They are very good at getting so sucked into a conversation that they cannot hear Donald's children asking them a question. Donald is an Army veteran who was deployed on two tours to Afghanistan. (Donald is married to Ashley, the Matron of Honor, and is the father of Wesley, a ring bearer, and Joanna and Natalie, both of the flower girls.)
Tobias McIntosh
Tobias McIntosh - Groomsman
Tobias "Mack" McIntosh is the bride's younger brother. They have very different personalities that do not always mesh well together. However, he is very excited for his big sister, especially since she went to great pains to do what she could to schedule her wedding so he could get leave from the United States Naval Academy in order to attend. (Her efforts have made him feel very special.)
Dylan Ferris
Dylan Ferris - Groomsman
The groom does not have a lot of friends of his own, but he has made some new ones through his bride. The bride first met Dylan at an IHOP while she was having a late dinner with Dylan's older brother Josiah and other friends. They would become friends the following year during a production of Guys and Dolls. The groom met Dylan some odd years later at a birthday celebration for Gavy, one of the bridesmaids. (He is the husband of Alyssa, another bridesmaid, and the father of Liam, one of the ring bearers.)
Josiah Ferris
Josiah Ferris - Groomsman
The groom does not have many friends of his own, but he has made new ones through his bride! The bride first met Josiah in an acting class at Colorado Christian University. They became very good friends throughout performances of Peter and the Starcatcher and Guys and Dolls. He has been the Dungeon Master in two campaigns of Dungeons & Dragons the bride has played in, and the two have described their friendship as having an older brother/little sister dynamic even though she's older than him. (However, he is the actual older brother of Dylan, one of the groomsmen.) The groom first met Josiah at a birthday celebration for Gavy, one of the bridesmaids.
Liam Ferris - Ring Bearer
The bride got to meet and hold Liam for the first time the weekend before quarantine started. She always gets him one of the greatest gifts of all for Christmas and his birthday: books. (He is the son of one of the bridesmaids and one of the groomsmen.) He is very kind and generous with his snacks.
Wesley Robbins
Wesley Robbins - Ring Bearer
Wesley is James' only nephew. He is 5 years old. He is very clever and would make a fabulous lawyer someday. He wants to have a Storm Trooper birthday party when he turns six. (He is the son of the Matron of Honor and the Best Man.)
Joanna Robbins
Joanna Robbins - Flower Girl
Joanna is one of James' two nieces. She is 3 years old and loves to pretend to read. (She is the daughter of the Matron of Honor and the Best Man.)
Natalie Robbins
Natalie Robbins - Flower Girl
Natalie turns 1 in September. She is James' youngest niece. She likes to chew on phones and remotes and is a very happy baby! (She is the daughter of the Matron of Honor and the Best Man.)
Katrina McIntosh
Katrina McIntosh - Mother of the Bride
It was Katrina's idea for the bride to use her maternal grandmother's wedding dress. (Katrina's mother's dress because that wording is confusing.) It was a stroke of brilliance because the bride does not like any of the current trends for wedding dresses with the exception of a bow on the dress. Katrina used to professionally coordinate weddings and her help in planning this one has been invaluable.
Michael McIntosh
Michael McIntosh - Father of the Bride
Michael has made this whole process easier by reminding the bride that so long as she is diligent in her spending, she shouldn't worry about the cost. His generosity has been the greatest force at lowering the bride's overall stress level.
Chona Robbins
Chona Robbins - Mother of the Groom
Chona and the bride love watching movies together and the bride feels very lucky to have such a wonderful storyteller for a mother-in-law!
Lee Robbins
Lee Robbins - Father of the Groom
Lee inspired both of his sons to serve in the military. Donald went his own way and chose the Army, while the groom followed Lee's footsteps and served in the Marines. Lee spent time as a reserve police officer.
John Ahlquist
John Ahlquist - Bride's Grandfather
John inspired the bride's love of grammar and is the reason she will tell you that one cannot drive safe because safe is an adverb but one can drive safely. He is fantastic at supervising others and is one of the funniest people the bride knows.
Judith Ahlquist
Judith Ahlquist - Bride's Grandmother
The bride's wedding dress was originally Judith's from when she and John got married in 1963 and the bride is truly honored to be wearing her dress. She is also the best cook the bride knows.
Lucy Lutz
Lucy Lutz - Bride's Personal Attendant
The bride met Lucy when they were both playing Stones in a production of Eurydice. They went on to both be involved in productions of Oklahoma!, Peter and the Starcatcher, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Guys and Dolls. The bride also performed in a one-act written by Lucy and directed by Mary, the bride's other personal attendant. Lucy holds a very special place in the bride's heart as a personal confidant and as someone who has been a great comfort during emotionally difficult times.
Mary Dowdy
Mary Dowdy - Bride's Personal Attendant
The bride first met Mary when Mary's twin brother was performing in a production of Eurydice with the bride. They would later go on to be in many shows together, including Oklahoma!, Peter and the Starcatcher, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Guys and Dolls. Mary also directed the bride in a one-act written by Lucy, the bride's other personal attendant.
Matt Dowdy
Matt Dowdy - Groom's Personal Attendant/Usher
The bride met Matt once before he married her personal attendant Mary. During a game night, Matt and the bride bonded over a mutual love for Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
Corbin Meacham
Corbin Meacham - Usher
Corbin and the bride first met at Colorado Christian University where they both bonded over a shared neurodivergence and a love of theatre. They also share a favorite musical, Something Rotten!.
