Maine's got some great local breweries for you to try. From the bike-and-brew tours in downtown Portland, to the hidden gems scattered around the countryside, you can't go wrong. We highly recommend picking up a bottle of Lunch from the Maine Beer Company
Portland's got some great baked goods. While most folks are partial to donuts from The Holy Donut, we also recommend Scratch, Katie's favorite bakery!
Let's be clear, there's no shortage of really, really good places to eat in Portland. (It's a big part of why we like it so much). There's burgers and sandwiches at DuckFat, pizza from Ottos, Micucci's, or The Flatbread Company, New American from Fore Street, or lobster rolls from just about anywhere.
