They built a life together filled with adventure, laughter, and exploration. As their connection deepened, so did their dreams, and the couple eventually made the exciting decision to move to New Orleans for new career opportunities, sunshine, and the promise of incredible food. Throughout it all, their loyal German Shepherd, Garth, was their constant companion, bringing even more joy to their journey.

But the most unforgettable moment came after months of planning, when James surprised Ashley in her hometown of Franklin, Tennessee, to ask the most important question of his life. The evening was everything Ashley could have dreamed of—and more. James had designed the perfect ring, a symbol of his love and commitment to her. On the day after Christmas, surrounded by the magic of the holidays, James got down on one knee and promised to love Ashley for the rest of their lives.
