It all began in Morgantown, West Virginia, where James, a WV State Trooper, and Ashley, an Administrative Fellow at WVU Medicine, were set up on a blind date by a close mutual friend. Little did they know, that first meeting would begin a love story that would lead to a lifetime of adventures!From the start, they shared a love of adventure—hiking through the scenic West Virginia mountains, cheering on the Mountaineers and the Crimson Tide, and exploring new restaurants each weekend. They built a life together filled with adventure, laughter, and exploration. As their connection deepened, so did their dreams, and the couple eventually made the exciting decision to move to New Orleans for new career opportunities, sunshine, and the promise of incredible food. Throughout it all, their loyal German Shepherd, Garth, was their constant companion, bringing even more joy to their journey.But the most unforgettable moment came after months of planning, when James surprised Ashley in her hometown of Franklin, Tennessee, to ask the most important question of his life. The evening was everything Ashley could have dreamed of—and more. James had designed the perfect ring, a symbol of his love and commitment to her. On the day after Christmas, surrounded by the magic of the holidays, James got down on one knee and promised to love Ashley for the rest of their lives. Beaming with love, Ashley said yes, and they celebrated with family and their closest friends, beginning the next chapter of their story!When it came time to plan their wedding, James and Ashley knew they wanted a celebration that reflected the things they cherished most: adventure, family, and the warmth of their love. They chose the iconic Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville, Tennessee, for a ceremony that would mirror the beauty and history of their relationship. They are excited to welcome all their closest family and friends to join them in celebrating their promise to love and support one another for the rest of their lives under the Nashville stars!
