Purgatory Resort offers on-mountain activities, however, this season will be limited due to the resort's construction of a new chair lift. Bike trails will be closed along with the Alpine Slide (part of the season). More updates can be found here at the link below.

Departing from Purgatory Resort, enjoy this fun way to see the backcountry of the San Juan Mountains! Day rentals are also available if you would rather explore without a guide.

Trails Rides can be booked online. Located only 5 miles from Resort!

To enter all cliff dwellings you must be on a ticketed tour with a ranger. Tickets are available 14 days in advance, 8:00 am MDT, on a rolling daily window.

Enjoy the many shops, eateries, and an abundance of outdoor activities in historical downtown Durango. Free parking in the city lot!
