Logan and Bailey met at Orange High school in Hillsborough, NC. Bailey had just recently moved to North Carolina from Illinois, and was on the volleyball team and Logan was on the basketball team. They met through mutual friends of theirs and instantly hit it off. One night before one of Logan’s rivalry basketball games Bailey made a bet with him that if he won, she would treat him to Krispy Kreme donuts after. Well, he won the basketball game (and in a way she won too) AND they got donuts! They still joke to this day how Bailey paid for their first date, and they still share a love for donuts to this day! 🍩

Logan proposed by doing a picnic at a local Hillsborough historic site area called Ayr Mount. They went on many walks at Ayr Mount with their dog Roxie in high school and this location is very special to them. Logan brought along with him for the occasion a picnic basket complete with champagne, sushi (Bailey's favorite food) and the most beautiful flowers!
