Where it all began... We have Clayton's sister, Madison, and Bailey's cousin, Dylan, to thank for their meeting (and for our joining the second time too!). We met during Dylan and Madison's wedding festivities. This was our first true photo together. We stayed on the dance floor all night long and were sad to say goodbye as Bailey returned to home 7.5 hours away.

Clayton made a trip up to visit Bailey in Michigan with his sister and Bailey's cousin. We had a great time and did all of the tourist things in Traverse City. Shortly after this, Bailey returned to Grand Valley for the school year. While there was definitely a connection, the timing didn't feel right for Bailey.

We were apart for about 8 months before we were brought back together when Clayton's sister was having her baby. This photo was Clayton's first trip back to MI for the 4th of July which was spent on Torch Lake!

After a long summer of Bailey playing hard to get, Clayton finally officially locked her down!

We took our first family vacation together when Clayton's parents took everyone to Siesta Key, FL. When we got back we got to go start the process of readying the house Clayton would move into and rent.

Bailey moved down to Illinois so the distance could finally be over! Luckily her job allowed her to go remote so she could work from home while living in Illinois. We live in an old farm house owned by Clayton's grandparents.

We adopted our first pet, Wilson! Don't be fooled, Clayton had to convince Bailey to get a cat. He made very compelling arguments and of course after Bailey met Wilson, we had to get him! He is very spoiled and loved.

We're engaged! Clayton had the perfect proposal planned out and while it took place in Illinois, her family and close friends all made the trip down. The day was filled with so much love!

We get to tie the knot after 3 years +1 day of being together. We cannot wait to celebrate with you all!
