Q + A

Can I bring a guest?

Due to venue sizing, we ask that only those listed on the invitation and on the RSVP tab attend our big day. While we wish everyone could come celebrate with us, we appreciate you respecting this request (and trust us, it will still be a party!).

Will the ceremony and reception be outdoors? What should I plan for?

Both our ceremony and reception will be considered outdoors. Our reception will take place under a roof, however it is not an enclosed building. Please plan accordingly for warmer or cooler weather when the time comes and keep in mind that most evenings in Northern Michigan get a little chilly. Ladies, please note our ceremony will take place in grass and will require walking in the grass. If you are choosing to wear heels, please be mindful of this for your own comfort (and your shoes sake!). We recommend wearing flat shoes, or heels that are chunky and will not sink as easily.

Can I bring my kid(s)?

Unless your children are listed on the invitation/RSVP, please make alternative plans for them during our big day.

What are we supposed to do between the ceremony and reception?

We will be having a cocktail hour between the ceremony and reception. We promise not to keep you waiting too long, so hang around, socialize, and enjoy the beautiful venue!

How do I RSVP?

Please RSVP on our website in the RSVP tab!

Where are we registered?

We are registered at Amazon and Target! Please see the "Registry" tab for easy access.

Where do you recommend we stay if we are traveling to get there?

Since half of our guests are going to be traveling to get to our wedding, we have a few recommendations(these can be found on our Travel tab). We highly recommend utilizing Airbnb/VRBO. If you are traveling here with a group of friends or family, start looking now and grab something as early as you can! Anything in the surrounding Traverse City area is great, if you need more direction please reach out to Bailey or Clayton. Keep in mind this is a tourist area that is always packed, during the summer months especially, so the earlier you look the better!

We are coming for more than just the weekend, what can we do while we are there?

The greater Grand Traverse area has lots of activities to offer! Head over to the Things to Do tab to find out more.
