This is also a family favorite which has great craft beers, meads, and ciders. Their food is delicious as well, especially their "Angry Bee" pizza with hot honey.

Dilbert's Cafe in Interlochen

If you're looking for good breakfast, this is the place to go! This is a hole in the wall local favorite. Clayton insists on going here at least once every time we are in Michigan! Tip: Get the stuffed hash browns, you won't regret it!

Kayak the Platte River

If you're coming up for a few days and the weather is cooperating, rent a kayak or canoe, pack a cooler, and float down the Platte River. The river isn't too fast so you can sit back and relax!

Beaches

There are countless beaches all around the area both on Lake Michigan and on the inland lakes. If the weather is permitting, pack a swimsuit and head to the water! Frankfort has a wonderful public beach area with volleyball courts, swings, and a pier to walk out on.
