Our Story
It all started with a couch and some peer pressure...
On a late December evening in 2021, Bailey was told by her good friend, Brendan, "You aren't going to meet the love of your life on my couch." As the New Year approached, Bailey succumbed to peer pressure and decided that she was ready to subject herself to the horrors of online dating. Her friends then worked together to create her a dating profile. Weeks later, Daniel commented on a picture of her at a Traverse City vineyard and stated how she was so stunning. A few days later, they met up for a first date that was promised to involve "dinner and drinks," but ended up lasting several hours and concluded with going to the arcade. Bailey "dazzled" Daniel with her pool skills and rest was history.
The two had an immediate connection and went on a few more dates. However, Daniel could not handle the stress from his new job and prospect of being with such an amazing girl and almost broke things off. He eventually came to his senses and asked Bailey to be his girlfriend in March of 2022.
After many adventures together - early mornings spent in airports, moving in together, attending a number of friends' weddings, traveling throughout the States, tailgating with friends, and mornings spent eating Dim Sum until we couldn't move - they both knew they had found "the one."
On July 14th, 2023, on the sandy shoreline of Lake Michigan, Daniel asked the easiest question of his life - if Bailey would spend forever with him. That brings us here today...
