Our Wedding

Adult Summer Camp? 

We would love to have you stay and celebrate with us the entire weekend! Please take a look at the photos and information below on what camp accommodations include - if you decide to stay (yay!) we are asking for $100 per guest to cover the cost of a full weekend stay! (Fri-Sunday)

Lodging

We will be assigning cabins to those staying with us overnight. Most come equipped with Bunk Beds so you may end up sleeping up high, but since we're only assigning cabins and not beds, you'll have to fight over the top bunk with your cabin-mates :)Some cabins have bathrooms attached but more likely you'll have to leave your cabin and walk a (very) short distance to the bath houses (pictured below) And note that the cabins do not have A/C (although its mid September so hopefully that's not an issue!)

Packing

If you stay on camp you'll want to review the packing list on the "Camp Rules" page above - but the main takeaways are brining your own bedding (sleeping bag/blankets/pillow) as well as towel and toiletries!

Food

We will provide a continental breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning (Cereal/coffee/juice/ect) as well as light lunch Saturday (Hot Dog bar) and of course dinner and drinks Saturday night!

Activities 

It's adult summer camp baby!! We will have some camp counselors on site Saturday before the ceremony to facilitate camp activities (Climbing Wall/Archery/Tomahawk Throwing) as well as yard games, arts and crafts stations, and plenty of acreage to hike through!

My name is Lindsay, and I am honored to have been chosen to be Bailey's maid of honor! I love to travel with my Husband, Matt (who you might notice is featured here also!) I'm also learning to sew and enjoy baking. 

I have been fortunate enough to call Bailey my best friend for 20 YEARS as we met at our color coded reading groups in first grade. Our first true interaction started with her asking how old I was, and when I told her I was 6, she immediately informed me that she was 6 and a half, which is obviously superior for many reasons. 
I met Nick shortly after they started dating (if you don't count the fact that we all went to high school together) and since then the 4 of us haven't been able to shake eachother! 

Bailey has provided light and love in my life for as long as I can remember. I am excited to see what is in store for her and Nick at 'Camp Stewley' next year!

Lindsay Maldonado 

My Name is Colton, I met Nick (also known as Stew) so long ago that I actually don't remember how we met, though It had to be before preschool! Growing up, we were at each others houses so often that Nick's dad would call me his third son. We had similar interests throughout childhood including fishing, motorcycles, snowboarding, car shows, skateboarding, ect. In adulthood our hobbies have shifted to golf, tennis, and yard games. Bailey and I became friends the summer after high school when me her and Nick would waste time driving around Fenton. And even though for a few years I refused to call her by her real name I still think she liked having me around!  I'm excited to take on any opponent in some camp activities this weekend, and can't wait to see my friend get married. 

Colton Schlitters

I'm Kacey, Bridesmaid and Sister to the Bride! I currently live in Los Angeles where I work on some of your fav TV shows. I have known Bailey a long time (her whole life in fact) and I couldn't be more excited for her and Nick! He'll have to learn to talk in movie quotes since that's how most of Bailey and I's conversations end up. Even though we live 2000 miles apart I enjoy our frequent phone catch-ups and love visiting since they have the BEST restaurant recommendations. I can't wait for them to make it officially official and I'm excited to be gaining such a great guy as Nick as a brother in law! 


Kacey Phegley

Im Tim, Nicks brother and groomsman! 

My little brother is a great dude and has accomplished a lot so far in life. Even though we live a few hours apart and don't see each other often we always stay in touch. Especially now as we are both into fitness and chat about what we are working on in the gym. I'm excited to witness's him grow as an adult with Bailey by his side. I'm so incredibly proud of my little brother and really happy to see him get married. 

Tim Stewart

My name is Tommy (also known affectionately by the bride as Thomas Allen Brown - which is not my name) 
I work for a nonprofit that helps provide college access to underserved communities. In my free time I stay busy with various leagues (kickball, volleyball, and bowling) and going out to karaoke nights with friends. 

Bailey and I met our freshman year at Grand Valley when we were in an a cappella group together. Over the next several years we spent time as as roommates (intermittently) and very close friends (consistently). We said a sad goodbye when I moved to Nashville, TN in 2022 but now enjoy visiting each other and telling the same annoying stories and laughing at the same annoying jokes. 

Tommy Anglim

Im Joe, Nick's 6th grade gym locker buddy, recently promoted to groomsman!

Nick and I bonded over our love of cars and playing sports. You might find a few slightly embarrassing middle school age videos of the later on youtube if you search hard enough. Bailey and I became friends in high school and all three of us now live in Grand Rapids where I mediate their thrifting trips and watch sports with Nick so Bailey doesn't have to. In my free time I like attending concerts and my weight lifting gym!

Joe Ocenasek

Hi! I’m Cynda! I am a wife, new mom to little Thea (sadly not in attendance this weekend), a special education teacher and and amateur comedian. (Though Tommy and Bailey think i'm hilarious and could go pro) I met Bailey in college and since then I haven’t been able to get rid of her…But I wouldn’t have it any other way! Our shared Justin Bieber 2.0 obsession really solidified our friendship. Some of my favorite memories with Bailey are how often we would walk to the bar around the corner for cocktails/ half off wine bottles in the middle of the week, watching the bachelor every Wednesday with the worst (best) Chinese food, and the fact that I filmed her engagement upside down. 

Fun fact, this wedding bio is how I announced my pregnancy to her! I'm so excited to be a part of her special day and can't wait to see her and Nick get hitched. 

Cynda Baranski

 My Name is (also) Nick! I met (the other) Nick in the seventh grade when I moved to Michigan. We became friends at school before learning we lived on opposite sides of Dollar Lake from each other. From then on I would take my little boat across the lake to hang out and play video games or ride bikes and skateboards in the driveway. We would stay up late every night in the summers playing the EA Skate games or Forza and devouring ramen noodles and pizza rolls. Seriously this guy is an animal when it comes to eating molten lava pizza rolls! This continued up until we had gotten cars and motorcycles and we would meet up and hang out at places around town, usually Bdubs. In more recent years the hang outs are less often with our busy lives in far away cities, but they will always feel as natural and easy as they did back then. 

Nick Monk

My name is Matt Maldonado, officiant, husband to the MOH, a fellow Lake Fenton grad, and long time friend.

My friendship with Bailey dates back to middle school band and the memories have only multiplied since then. From Bailey telling me her middle name was Cleopatra (not true for those wondering), to our roles in footloose, to Nick, Bailey, Lindsay and I all sleeping in a van in Traverse City. It has always been an adventure. I didn't know Nick very well back in school, but It has been great becoming friends as adults. Nic is EXACTLY one year older than me and the four of us have been going on "birthday weekend" trips for about 5 consecutive years now. These long weekends away have also been quite notable. We have "had to" climb out of a hot tub and in through the bathroom window one year and even push a dead golf cart almost a mile to get it back to the Air bnb. 

I could not be more honored than to have been asked to marry them today.

Welcome Bonfire Dress Code 

Elevated Casual AttireWelcome to the party! For the welcome bonfire we’re embracing an elevated casual vibe, blending relaxed comfort with a touch of sophistication. Consider the weather and the rustic camp nature of the venue when selecting your outfit. Opt for layers and practical footwear that will keep you comfortable and stylish in an outdoor or semi-rural setting. Jeans paired with a smart top are absolutely acceptable! The couple and bridal party will likely be in elevated attire but do not feel obligated to dress up. (Or feel free!) Think of it as the fanciest bonfire you've ever been to - but how fancy could a bonfire really be?

Dress Code

Friday 9/19

6:30pm Arrival 

Guests are welcome to arrive, check in, and unpack their bunks no earlier than 6:30pm

7pm - 9pm Welcome Bonfire

A Welcome bonfire for guests staying at Camp will take place at the Big Bear Fire Ring. S'mores and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided! BYO alcoholic refreshments but remember the real party is Saturday! (Beer and Wine allowed - No open bottles of hard liquor per camp rules)

Saturday 9/20

8am - 10am Breakfast

A grab and go continental breakfast will be served in the lodge - after 10am we ask that guests steer clear of the lodge so the coordinators can decorate for the reception!

10am - 2pm Camp Activities 

Camp Activities will be offered in the following time frames&nbsp;10am-12pm:&nbsp;Archery&nbsp;11am-1pm:&nbsp;Climbing Wall&nbsp;12noon-2pm:&nbsp;Tomahawk Throwing

12:00pm - 1:30pm Lunch

Lunch (hot dog bar) will be set up in the pavilion from 12:30-1:30pm

4pm Ceremony 

Ceremony will take place at the Boyden Chapel on camp grounds - see map below

4:30-6pm Cocktail Hour

Cocktails and Hors d'oeuvres will be served on the Lodge Deck

6pm Dinner

Tables will be dismissed for buffet service starting at 6pm Menu: - Blackened Faroe Island Salmon Filet, Creamy Sage &amp; Goat Cheese Corn Polenta, Braised Baby Kale, Fire Roasted Corn Salsa, Sherry Cream Sauce- Cabernet Braised Beef Short Rib, Creamy Caramelized Onion Risotto, Honey Roasted Whole Baby Carrots, Rich Beef Jus - Chopped Salad, Dinner Rolls w/ Compound Butter

7:30pm Party!

Dancing will take place inside the lodge - yard games and bonfires will be set up outside

8:30pm -10pm Munchies 

Olly's Mini Donuts will be on site starting at 8:30pmS'mores supplies will be set up near the bonfires! Late night snacks including Mini Grilled Cheeses and a Popcorn Bar will be served at 10pm!

Sunday 9/21

8am -10am Breakfast 

Continental Breakfast will be served in the lodge

11am Farewell! 

Camp Pendalouan asks that we be cleaned up and off site by 11am

Please read through all the rules provided by Camp Pendalouan

-We allow beer, wine and pre-mixed signature drinks to be served.&nbsp;No open bottles of hard liquor are allowed on Camp Property. -Vehicles are to be parked in the parking lots. Temporary parking for loading or unloading at the Lodge is permitted. Cars may not drive to cabins. -Quiet hours are from midnight - 7:00 a.m. -Campfires are permitted but must be in contained fire pits. There are several fire pits located throughout our property, as well as a couple of portable pits. Burning or smoldering fires cannot be left unattended. -Smoking is not permitted in any building and should be limited to specific areas. -Camp does not have an ice machine, but ice can be bought and stored in the camp freezer. -Sparklers and small fireworks are permitted before midnight, but not on or in facilities -Please keep camp clean! Any damage to our facilities or property must be covered by the wedding party. All borrowed supplies or moved furniture must also be put back where found. In addition, if the grounds are not cleaned to an expected level, a cleaning fee must be covered by the wedding party. -Boating and swimming are not allowed&nbsp;unless a staff member/lifeguard are paid and present in the boating or swim area. In other times, please follow the waterfront closure signs.

We’ve finalized our guest list and provided final headcounts to our vendors, therefore RSVPs are now closed. If we didn’t hear from you before the deadline, we’ve assumed you won’t be able to attend and updated your response to declined.
