45 Days To Go!

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Feel free to wear garden party clothes. The ceremony will be inside, and the reception will be outside. Our primary hope is that you feel comfortable, so feel free to wear what you like.

WHERE DO I PARK?

If you are willing to walk one block, plan to park at Western Theological Seminary. Street parking is also available on most roads. The church parking lot will be blocked off for the reception.

CAN I BRING MY KIDS?

This is a family-friendly event! We know that traveling great distances with your children can feel complicated at best, but know that they are welcome, or come and have a little romantic getaway with your spouse!

WILL THERE BE ALCOHOL?

Alcohol is not permitted on the premises at the church (that includes the parking lot), so it will not be served, but you can walk downtown during the social hour from 5:15-6:15 (or at other junctures of the evening) to grab a beverage in the Social District. Holland is known for great breweries so feel free to explore! For more information on this see the Social Hour page.

WILL THERE BE FOOD FOR MY DIETARY RESTRICTION?

We are catering from Mi Favorita, a local taco place. They will set up the food in a taco bar style. This means there will be vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free, and gluten-free options. Let us know if you have concerns about this, but we chose this so that all of our friends can have an option to enjoy.

CAN I TAKE PHOTOS AT YOUR WEDDING?

We will have a photographer during the ceremony and would love for all of our guests to be fully present during the service, so please refrain from taking photos. We look forward to seeing what you see and enjoy from the weekend.

CAN I PULL A PRANK DURING THE WEDDING?

Do so at your own peril. The groomsmen will be instructed to toss any troublemakers into Lake Michigan.

WHERE IS THE COUPLE GOING FOR THEIR HONEYMOON?

Our plan is directly after the wedding to stay locally in an Airbnb for one to two nights, so we can say goodbye to our out of town guests. Then we hope to fly or roadtrip (still undecided) to Bluegreen The Cliffs at Long Creek in Ridgedale, MO.
