Attire: Evening on the beach may be breezy and cool. Feel free to bring a change of casual clothes or layers for your comfort.

You may drive to Esch Beach, but a shuttle will also be available. Parking is free, but each car needs a pass to enter the park. Passes are valid for 7 days, and we encourage you to visit Sleeping Bear Dunes while you are in town. Sunset/Stars at Esch Beach

Bring a blanket, sit by the bonfire, and watch the sunset and stars. Sunset is at 9:30pm. We have approval from NPS for a sunset and stargazing event. We welcome campfire stories, creation myths, and tales of the constellations.
