This is a milestone event and we ask that you arrive cloaked in dignity but not discomfort. Please avoid outfits in the general category of jeans, leggings, sweat pants, flip flops, and sneakers. If you are unsure, Google "business casual wedding attire" for guidelines.
What can I do to keep the energy of the event in the room?
That’s so thoughtful! Here’s what you can do to honor this once-in-a-lifetime event:
1) Show up exactly as you are.
2) Ask clearly for what you need to be comfortable.
3) Open yourself both to meeting new people and connecting with familiar faces.
4) Choose not to use your cellphone in the event space other than for photo missions.
There will be a place in the atrium for you to leave your phone if you self-determine you're picking it up out of habit. You are not only free but entirely welcome to step out into the atrium at any time you want to read or send texts or make a phone call.
Is it air conditioned?
Yes. However, most of the festivities, including dinner and dancing, will take place in the outdoor, covered tent. Food will be served indoors and music and toasts will be played over speakers and can be heard indoors for any guests who need to step inside for comfort.
How Do I Submit My Toast or Song Dedication?
We are using a service called "Life On Record" to make it effortless for you to call in and leave VOICE (not video) message with your toast, song request, or song dedication. See the Record Your Toast Tab for the phone number and links to alternate ways to submit a toast.
