Welcome to the Crevensten Adventure Wedding of 2019!
Most of you know Ben and Bethany and you already know these two are no ordinary couple, so why would their wedding be any different?
As they wanted to celebrate their love for one another they also wanted to have a relaxing and adventurous wedding for their family and friends to get away. So they decided to host a 3 day wedding event everyone can enjoy no matter the age or what type of fun you may be interested in.
They found an amazing Airbnb tree farm with 17 acres and a couple of barns but just close enough to hotels in case the fresh air camping style isn't for you.
The MAIN HOUSE of the Airbnb is open to any and all guests. Please feel free to eat what's available (please avoid labeled food for the wedding and/or other guest(s) have brought for themselves). Everyone is welcome to use any of the four bathrooms in the house to shower and get ready as you please. (We recommend that you bring along an extra towel to be on the safe side)
Please see accommodations page for camping and hotel information.
DAY 1 - Arrival day - Monday August 5th
All are welcome to arrive Monday any time after noon to set up your campsite, to drop off anything for the wedding, or to stop by and hang out with friends and family. Please feel free to take a stroll around the beautiful site of Abloom and check out the main house. However, please keep in mind that the bride and groom will be using this as a set up day and a rehearsal.
DAY 2- Wedding Day - Tuesday August 6th
Swing into the kitchen and make some breakfast, grab a cup of coffee and enjoy the morning. Bethany recommends checking out Thiensville Farmer’s Market that morning located just 20 mins away from the wedding.
Ceremony will begin at 3:00 pm followed by drinks and food until 10:00 pm.
Here is where you; as the guests, come in to help bring the adventure of food to the wedding. We all know Ben is well-known for his food... and if you don't, you do now! Ben creates wonders in the kitchen from his award winning chili that has won the golden ladle, his wings were voted second best in Milwaukee in 2018, and he is known for his famous Sunday night tacos.
So why not challenge you, as the guests, to bring the best dish you can bring to the wedding. The bride and groom will hold a voting contest allowing everyone to vote for the best dish or item supplied for the wedding. The top 3 winners or teams will be honored with a 3 course meal supplied and prepped by Ben and Bethany themselves.
NO WORRIES the couple will ensure the wedding will have enough food for everyone. They will also supply a couple of grills and the kitchen on site is allowed to be used as well.
You are welcome to bring anything from appetizers, side dishes, main dishes, or dessert but the bride and groom will be supplying one of each category.
If you would like to partake in the food challenge please email the dish you will like to supply and if you are partaking in it as a solo challenger or as a team to bc2wedding19@gmail.com
We are estimating around 175 for guests count.
Feel free to make a dish to feed 20 people or to feed 200 people as no food will be going to waste.
But the food is not the only challenge on site. The bride and groom will have yard games for all ages, bounce houses, and movies going all night long for everyone to enjoy.
10:00 pm AFTER PARTY (21 and up)
Not all of us want our night to end so let's hop on a party bus and head out downtown.
DAY 3 - Clean up - Movie Night - Wednesday August 7th
We all know after a wedding we need to recover and what better way then to hang out with the bride and groom for a movie day and night. We will also be using this day as a clean up day feel free to help if you would like but don't feel like you need to help.
Followed by gift opening at 3:00pm
What better way to wrap up the night with a outdoor movie theater theme. Join the bride and groom in a night of candy bar sweets and classic movies under the stars.
DAY 4 - Departure Day - August 8th
The bride and groom will be leaving the Airbnb by 11:00 am this will be the last farewell and thank you to all!
The bride and groom understand that spending time with family and friends is important and they want all guests to have fun during the campout no matter what time is it or how old you are.
To ensure everyone has fun and is safe all night long Ben and Bethany have thought about getting a nanny to provide the parents and the kids an equal opportunity. Ben and Bethany have created a safe kid zone not just for Ben's son Liam and Bethany's daughter Clea but for all the kids invited to the wedding.
Feel free to RSVP on the Nanny page and let us know if you would like to be include on the onsite nanny as well as the age range of the child.
They are looking to have the nanny begin at 7:00pm and stay through the night either on site or at one of the hotels in our block.
The nanny will be a certified nanny with CRP training.
