Bethany and Ben met during college while Ben was chasing his culinary career and Bethany was chasing her hotel and event planning career.

Bethany seemed to like Ben right away but, as you would guess, Ben had no clue. For a whole semester Bethany tried to get Ben's attention in the most common ways anyone could think of. She would ask Ben if he could help her with homework after class in order to just chat with him, or ask if he and his best friend wanted to grab lunch. At one point she even went as far as inviting him to dinner and a concert but, him and his friend already had tickets and plans for the evening...thanks, Sandor!

The class came to an end and Bethany never got her date. The last time they were to see each other was at Ben's graduation day. She congratulated him and wished him luck and they said their final goodbye; or so they thought.

Roughly five years had passed and, other than the occasional social media interaction, they hadn't really spoken. After years of not speaking Bethany reached out to Ben in regards to going out with her friends to the club that he managed and, unexpectedly, the conversation bloomed into career and life compliments along with genuine friendship. For months they were able to talk about dreams, goals and the futures they each hoped to accomplish as individuals.Three months later they were able to go on their first date and have now made a promise to continue to date each other each and every day.

Since then they have spent countless dates in Chicago, visited Boston and have continued hopes to travel the world in search of the perfect venue to build their dreams and grow as a family. (no we aren't having kids guys; we're talking about saving the animals!)
