About Us   Brandon and Destinee's love story began with a swipe right on Hinge (a dating app) in late August, to early September 2023. What started as casual conversations quickly turned into something deeper. After a week of chatting on the app, Destinee bravely took the lead and shared her number on September 23, 2023, at 11:58 AM because Brandon, admittedly, was too nervous to ask first! From that moment, their connection blossomed into a beautiful relationship filled with laughter, shared dreams, and unwavering support. Now, they’re excited to start their forever together, and they are grateful for the app that brought them into each other’s lives and the grace of God that sustained their relationship.

Our Story

Leo Queen is a younger brother of Brandon Queen. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and a master's degree from Mississippi State University. 

He does leadership, mentorship, and coaching work in higher education, primarily serving as a women’s and men’s track and field coach.

I'm Denise, and Destinee is my first best friend and my sister. Only 2 and a half years separates us, but I am still here for her since Day 1. She is caring, thoughtful, concerned for those she loves, and disciplined. And I am so proud to be her maid of honor. Brandon, thank you for putting a smile on her face, and I wish you both a happy, blessed, Christ-centered union.

Denise Robinson

Brandon and I have been friends for years. We met in 7th grade at West Thibodaux Middle School (which no longer exists), and I knew that this dude was one of a kind. He has become one of my closest friends. They say you only need a few really good friends. Well, he is my ride or die. We have each other's back through thick or thin. Love you  brotha and I can't wait to be by your side when you get to finally be with your one.

We met at work back in 2019. I would have to say our friendship is loyal, supportive, caring, trustworthy, fun and hilarious-bc I’m the funnier one 😆 I am excited for this next chapter in Destinee's life and I am honored to stand by her side and serve as a bridesmaid

I’ve known Brandon, aka “B Queen,” since he was the “little camera dude” running around Thibodaux. When he said he was going into law enforcement, I doubted it, but his heart for helping and protecting proved it was his calling. Little did I know about his unfiltered, outspoken side that keeps things interesting! Now, he’s like the little brother I never wanted but can’t live without. I’m proud of him and thankful for the amazing woman who loves, grounds him, and manages his craziness. Godspeed Destinee! Love you, lil bro!

Corey Brooks

Hello, my name is Dawn. I am Destinee’s loving niece. She’s my best friend forever. I cherish every moment I spend with her. She taught me how to tie my shoes when I was younger. At first I couldn’t say Desi, which is her nickname, so I called her Pessi. To this day she is my Pessi forever. Brandon, please take care of my precious aunt. Blessing to both of you. Welcome to the family.

Hello, I’m Darius, and I am the favorite and best brother of the bride. Being her younger brother, Destinee has been a positive and caring influence on me and everyone around her for my entire life. Even while I’m away from Louisiana, I look forward to being around my sister every time I return and I’m beyond happy she has found someone to make her life better every day. I wish Destinee and Brandon a beautiful happy marriage, and I can’t wait for the wedding to welcome Brandon into the family!

Darius Hayes

While patrolling Thibodaux's Federal Circle, I met Eunice Queen, a respected and wise woman. Our friendship grew through porch conversations, and I gained much from her life lessons.

Through her, I met Brandon as a boy and saw his early potential. Hardworking, selfless, and God-loving, he embodies Eunice's strength and compassion. I'm proud of him and pray for blessings over his marriage and future.

Kevin Brooks

One thing Brandon is especially proud of is being an uncle. Having nephews has been one of the greatest joys of his life, and Kyrin is no exception. As one of Brandon’s nephews, Kyrin brings energy, personality, and genuine charm to the wedding party. He is a great addition to the lineup and, without question, quite the stud.

This bundle of joy is a distant cousin of Brandon. Although Kaci’s mom and Brandon don’t adhere to the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd cousin business, Marsiah and Brandon are very close. Kaci is funny, quick witted and a whole party by herself. She will bring a delightful and poise personality the position of flower girl!

Good seafood and cocktails! This is where Brandon and Destinee met up for their first date. They then jumped on the street car to explore the French Quarter!

Superior Grill in New Orleans delights with great food and great margaritas (ask Destinee), making it a reliable spot for family gatherings. Patrons enjoy the delicious guacamole and attentive service, perfect for casual outings. While some reviews note inconsistencies, many express satisfaction with the wonderful food and inviting atmosphere.

The Court of Two Sisters appears to offer a historically charming setting and the opportunity to experience a classic New Orleans jazz brunch with a wide variety of local dishes.
