This isnt your typical love story... and the ones who know, know. After losing her sweet girls, Leila and Charlotte, Bree’s brother Colin gifted her a flight to DC with their mom to spend the weekend away from reality. It was at Mattie and Eddie’s, in a booth that held more people than it should have, where the love story began. Mind you, Bree did not start the night with love at first sight. She was under the impression that he was taken, so she kept to herself, drank a few beers and enjoy the most random game of "Who can name the most bands with a color in their name" that last two hours. (Don't ask, we still don't understand ourselves). After moving to what was known as the horrible pizza place across the way, Bree got a bit more confidence behind her. She learned he was in fact not taken and she slid in his DMs after parting ways for the night. Then began the constant messaging back and forth, sitting not even two feet from each other watching Six Nations. It only took one day... to learn that Elliott was not the best darts partner. But there she was, catching feelings for the guy from across the pond. Messaging turned into Bree flying to DC every other weekend for the first three months of 2023. She single handedly kept the Southwest flights from Houston to DC in business. It wasn't until her very last trip, relaxed, walking the National Mall after looking at rocks for three hours, that she knew she was in love with him. And in a later conversation, it was confirmed that Elliott felt the same. Fast forward a week to St. Patrick's Day, after enjoying a Cody Johnson show at the rodeo that Elliott and Bree were sitting in a bar when a self proclaimed Mexican psychic came over to them and proceeded to say that Bree was madly in love with Elliott and she didnt want to tell him. (If you ask Bree, she thinks Elliott paid her to say that) Elliott kept bringing up the conversation, but Bree was hesitant to take the plunge, not knowing how he felt. But on March 19th, 2023 - sitting at a bar top table at Social Beer Garden, Elliott dropped a line from Gavin and Stacey and Bree told him that she loved him.. to which he said it back. Over the next year, Bree and Elliott would fly back and forth between Houston and England, trying to spend as much time together as possible. They knew that they were end game for each other, and that no matter the distance, or the jobs, they were going to spend the rest of their lives together. This brings them to March 9th, 2024. Elliott had been in Houston no more than 24 hours when they took a sunrise trip to Galveston. Their favorite spot. You couldn't see the sunrise at all, it was freezing cold and windy, but Elliott insisted they stayed until 0730 (am in the morning). He decided that was the perfect time for them to get up and walk along the jetty with a very odd man following them (who later turned out to be very special). Elliott set up Brees phone (that fell over and captured half of the special moment), got down on one knee and asked her to marry him using Nanny Sibley's ring. In her mind she said yes, but her mouth did not follow up saying the word until a week later (but dont worry, Elliott knew that was the answer). And so the wedding planning began!

Kailee spent 25 years being my little sister and I am so excited to have her as my maid of honor. Kailee has been my ride or die, my ADHD twin and the best sister a gal could ask for. There was no question about having Kailee as my maid of honor and celebrating such an important day. I love you, Bev! Let's do the thing!

Henry and I met while I was working in D.C. in 2022. What started as a working relationship soon blossomed into a close friendship with us sharing gym workouts, daily (questionable) voice notes, and regaling stories of our worldwide adventures. Henry has become, not only, one of my closest confidants but a brilliant mentor and teacher.

Mariah and I met in 2016, when I moved across the room of our EMT class to sit next to her. She's been by my side through all the ups and downs, each of us moving out of Milwaukee, and everything in between. It was such an honor to stand by her side while she got married, and an even bigger honor to have her by mine. Mariah texted me on March 20th, 2023 saying "I just know you are going to marry him", and boy she was right!

Ben and I met in Phase Two training in 2018 before working together in 2021. Someone who is never afraid to speak their mind, Ben and I have shared laughs, funny stories, stress, and hardships, but we'd always be there for each other no matter where we were in the world. It was an honour to stand alongside you at your wedding, and I can't wait to have you stand alongside me at ours. If I ever found myself in the trenches, I would always want Ben beside me.

14+ years of friend between us, starting in baking school and growing into different careers. We've shared apartments, cats, laughs and cries together. There is no better friend to have than Alli, because no matter how much time passes, she still has my back. Poops and I are so excited to have you come visit and party like theres no tomorrow!

The reason for Bree and I meeting. Colin and I worked together in D.C. where Colin had the joy of dealing with me daily. One of my closest friends, we bonded over american football, where he took me to my first NFL game (WSH 23-21 GB - GO 'MANDERS), rugby, current affairs, and our shared propensity to drink copious amounts of Guinness.

Lizzie... theres no amount of words to describe how blessed I am to have her in my life. She was the keeper of the gender for my girls, she walked out of the hospital with me as I did the hardest walk, cuddled our sweet Smitty as he passed and so much more. She will drop whatever she is doing to help out a friend, and it's the biggest honor to have her by my side as I marry the love of my life.

Phil and I met in training in 2018 and have had shared similar paths until working together again in 2023. A broad Northern Irishmen who has more stories and knowledge than the Library of Congress. We frequently put the world to rights over a beer and there's no one I'd rather do it with.

Little Miss Nova.. what an amazing little girl. Nova has been such an important part of my life since before she was even born. Her mama is one of the greatest, strongest people I have ever met and she is continuing that greatness with the way she is raising Nova. Having Nova as our flower girl was something I dreamed of since the moment she was born. I am the luckiest to have this little girl in my life, and there to celebrate with us.

We are so excited to have Paul officiate our wedding. Paul, and bridesmaid wife Lizzie, have been such a big support system for us and share a love we are inspired by. Paul is someone knew we had to have to help celebrate our big day and having him make it official is a dream for us.

It's no surprise that we'll recommend the Seawall! Many will say it's not much to look at, but to us it holds so many of our favorite memories. Walk along the beach, or the seawall itself.. jump into the water if it's warm enough.. but mostly, stop off at the Poop Deck for a nice cold beer (or soda!)

So much to do and see at the historic Strand! Many little cute shops, candy shops, tourist shops, bars and spots to grab a bite to eat! Stop off at our favorite mural, snap a picture and send it to us as a fun way to remember your trip to Galveston!

Why not take a trip to Space Center Houston and NASA Johnson Space Center! It's a short trip from Galveston, nestled between the coast and the City of Houston. Makes for a great day trip and you can even take a tram tour to see the original Apollo Mission Control! Why not take a night and spend it at the world's biggest rodeo?! Enjoy bull riding, cattle roping, mutton busting and move before a star studded concert! Line up is usually announced in January but no matter who the concert is, its a Texan experience to make it to the Rodeo!
