Our Wedding

Amber and Brent met online, but quickly realized they had many mutual friends and acquaintances. From the very beginning, they connected over their shared values, similar upbringings, and easy conversation. More than anything, though, Brent consistently showed up, and kept showing up. They began talking in late September of 2019, and although neither of them was initially looking for anything serious, a mutual friend encouraged them both to give each other a chance. Safe to say, that friend was right, because they have talked every day since. At the time, Brent was hauling windmill blades across the country, so they spent quite a while getting to know each other before finally going on their first date on November 8, 2019. Early on, Amber joked to a friend, “I think I got myself a boyfriend and I don’t really know how. What do I do with him?” 🤣 As their relationship grew, it became clear they were meant to be together because Amber could be completely and unapologetically herself around Brent, and instead of walking away, he stayed. He always stayed. Then, at the beginning of the 2025 Sturgis Rally, Brent took Amber on a side-by-side ride to the Nemo Flag in Nemo overlooking the entire town. In true Brent fashion, he said, “I’m not getting down on one knee… will you marry me?” before immediately getting down on one knee anyway. Amber’s response was, “It’s about damn time.” Afterward, they raced back to the house and celebrated the moment with friends over supper. Now, they are excitedly counting down to their “I Do” day on November 7, 2026.

Bridal Party | Ladies Edition Emily Givens | Maid of HonorWe have known each other since 2008 when we worked together. She invited me to a Daughtry concert and we have been friends ever since. Mackenzie SmithI have known her since birth. She is my niece and one of my favorite people. (Although that maybe shouldn’t be said) we’ve spent a lot of time together and watched her grow into the young adult she is today and am incredibly proud of her. Kaitlyn Brownshe is the wife of our best man, and the mom of our flower girl, ring bearer and ring security. I met her shortly after Brent and I started dating, we clicked quickly, and now I view her as a friend of mine too. Ryleigh GarrI met her in 2019 when Brent and I started dating as she is his daughter. I’ve gotten the pleasure of watching her grow into a pretty great young lady. Even if she doesn’t always like my opinion she’s always respectful and kind. Holly Schippers | Personal AttendantI met Holly while I was attending ISB a LONG time ago. I then “met” her again in a class for nails in the salon I work in. I’ve gotten to know her over the years and we have become good friends. She’s supportive, and a no judgement zone that every girl needs in life. Bridal Party | Kids Edition Khloe Brown - Flower GirlFlint Brown - Ring BearerLane & Drew Brown - Ring SecurityAll kids of Luke & Kaitlyn whom we spend a good amount of time with. Bridal Party | Guys Edition Luke Brown | Best ManWe started kindergarten together, I walked up to him, started talking and have been friends ever since. We spent a lot of time together as kids, and even did Drivers Ed together. I helped give him the courage to first talk to his wife Kaitlyn. I also enjoy helping them on the farm in my spare time. Andrew RustWe also started kindergarten together, grew up going to school and college classes with each other. We have remained friends ever since. I even helped introduce him to his wife Mandy. Shane GarrI’ve known him since birth, he is my younger brother, made by my parents so I never had a choice and just got stuck with him. Brad ElderI met him freshman year of high school, realized we liked a lot of the same things and he also fit in with my core group of friends, Luke, Andrew and I have been friends since. We were thick as thieves and spent many weekends together. Even wound up working together for awhile. Tyler Brown | UsherI met Tyler through my Best Man, Luke. He’s his older brother. As I got to spend time with Luke, I also became friends with Tyler as well. Curtis Chapel | UsherI met Curtis through my niece MacKenzie. He is now her fiancé and planning their own wedding soon. We have enjoyed having him as an addition into our family.

Wedding Party

Alright, beloved friends and family—We’ve got just one tiny (but very important) request: dressy casual, please 💍Think: you’re looking sharp, but you can still breathe, dance, and enjoy yourself without feeling like you’re headed to a black-tie gala. For our guys: we’re talking nice, clean jeans (yes, clean is key 😌), button-up shirts, maybe even a vest or blazer if you’re feeling fancy. If it looks like you might fix a car in it later… let’s pick something else. For our gals: think cute dresses, stylish tops, skirts, or elevated denim—basically, something that says “I understood the assignment” without stealing the bride’s spotlight (love you, mean it 💅).In short: polished, put-together, and ready to celebrate with us.We can’t wait to see you looking amazing—and more importantly, to celebrate together 🥂With love (and just a hint of sass),Brent & Amber
