Our Wedding

Brent and I met online, but quickly learned we have many mutual acquaintances and friends. I can’t say for him, but I thought he seemed like a nice guy, and we seemed to have a lot of moral similarities and upbringing. But mostly he showed up and kept showing up. Started talking late September, he didn’t want anything serious, had a mutual friend message and said he needed to give me a chance and I needed to give him a chance and we have talked every day since. He was in the semi hauling windmill blades, so we talked for awhile before we went on a first date. First Date - 11.08.19 The Yes Day - 07.31.25 The “I Do” Day - 11.07.26 I remember saying in the beginning to a friend of mine “I think I got myself a boyfriend and I don’t really know how. What do I do with him?” 🤣 I think I knew we would wind up together pretty early on when I could be 100% unapologetically me and he still kept showing up and didn’t walk away. The Proposal : he took me in a side by side to the Nemo flag in Nemo, South Dakota at the beginning of the Sturgis Rally 2025. Where the view overlooked the whole town. He said “I’m not getting down on one knee, will you marry me?” He then got down on one knee and I said “it’s about damn time” we got back in the side by side, ran back to the house, and met some friends for supper. -Amber

Bridal Party | Ladies Edition Emily Givens | Maid of HonorWe have known each other since 2008 when we worked together. She invited me to a Daughtry concert and we have been friends ever since. Mackenzie SmithI have known her since birth. She is my niece and one of my favorite people. (Although that maybe shouldn’t be said) we’ve spent a lot of time together and watched her grow into the young adult she is today and am incredibly proud of her. Kaitlyn Brownshe is the wife of our best man, and the mom of our flower girl, ring bearer and ring security. I met her shortly after Brent and I started dating, we clicked quickly, and now I view her as a friend of mine too. Ryleigh GarrI met her in 2019 when Brent and I started dating as she is his daughter. I’ve gotten the pleasure of watching her grow into a pretty great young lady. Even if she doesn’t always like my opinion she’s always respectful and kind. Holly Schippers | Personal AttendantI met Holly while I was attending ISB a LONG time ago. I then “met” her again in a class for nails in the salon I work in. I’ve gotten to know her over the years and we have become good friends. She’s supportive, and a no judgement zone that every girl needs in life. We spent a lot of time together as kids, and even did Drivers Ed together. I helped give him the courage to first talk to his wife Kaitlyn. I also enjoy helping them on the farm in my spare time. Andrew RustWe also started kindergarten together, grew up going to school and college classes with each other. We have remained friends ever since. I even helped introduce him to his wife Mandy. Shane GarrI’ve known him since birth, he is my younger brother, made by my parents so I never had a choice and just got stuck with him. Brad ElderI met him freshman year of high school, realized we liked a lot of the same things and he also fit in with my core group of friends, Luke, Andrew and I have been friends since. We were thick as thieves and spent many weekends together. Even wound up working together for awhile. Tyler Brown | UsherI met Tyler through my Best Man, Luke. He’s his older brother. As I got to spend time with Luke, I also became friends with Tyler as well. Curtis Chapel | UsherI met Curtis through my niece MacKenzie. He is now her fiancé and planning their own wedding soon. We have enjoyed having him as an addition into our family.
