The Motor Mill Historic Site is a peaceful natural area that features a six-story limestone flouring mill and four related stone buildings dating from the late 1860’s. Motor Mill is located on the banks of the Turkey River in Clayton County, Iowa.

Turkey River Rentals offers canoes and kayaks down the Turkey River. There are two styles of canoes, the first is a traditional aluminum 17 foot canoe with two seats. The other canoes are plastic three seat boats. All kayaks are single passenger and are either sit-on-top or sit-in. They offer a variety of trip options- the shortest being 6.5 miles (2-3 hours) and the longest being 19 miles (6-8 hours).
