GLACIER NATIONAL PARK AND YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK
🏞️ Embrace the magical opportunity as Bri and Tyler tie the knot in the picturesque state of Montana! As you prepare to witness our love story unfold, we invite you to seize the extraordinary chance to explore two of America's most iconic National Parks – Glacier National Park and Yellowstone National Park.
🌲 Positioned almost equidistantly from both parks, Helena serves as your ideal starting point for an adventure-filled journey added to your trip for our wedding. June unveils a captivating tapestry, with parks adorned in the lush greenery of late spring while still cradling snow-kissed summits. Don't miss this enchanting juncture, offering you the best of both worlds in a single visit.
🏕️ For the adventurous souls, consider reserving a spot to camp at Glacier or Yellowstone National Park. Secure your spot early, especially for Glacier, where entry reservations are required for camping and Going to the Sun Road. Wake up amidst nature's wonders, creating memories that will truly last a lifetime.
👨👩👧👦 Extend the joy to your loved ones! Invite family to join you on this extraordinary journey and exploration of the great outdoors and everything Montana has to offer. It's the perfect opportunity for relatives to engage with the little ones, ensuring parents can revel in the joyous wedding festivities.
🚗 While park tours are available, we recommend the freedom of your own car to savor every moment at your own pace. From scenic drives to hidden gems, having your own transportation ensures you won't miss any of the awe-inspiring sights these parks have to offer.
ABOUT THE PARKS
🏞️ Glacier National Park and Yellowstone National Park offer distinct yet equally mesmerizing experiences, providing couples and families with a diverse range of activities and natural wonders to explore.
🌲 Glacier, known as the "Crown of the Continent," boasts jaw-dropping landscapes with its iconic glacial-carved valleys and pristine alpine lakes. Activities like hiking through the rugged terrain or cruising the stunning ‘Going-to-the-Sun Road’ offer a more intimate connection with nature.
🌋 Yellowstone, America's first national park, captivates with its geothermal wonders, including the iconic Old Faithful geyser. Families can marvel at bubbling hot springs, diverse wildlife, and the park's unique geological features. With educational programs and easily accessible boardwalks, Yellowstone offers an engaging experience for families.
🦌 While Glacier showcases mountain goats and elusive grizzly bears in a high-alpine setting, Yellowstone is renowned for its diverse wildlife, including bison, wolves, and elk. Both parks provide a chance to see the wonders of the natural world in their unique habitats.
👫 Bri and Tyler recommend Yellowstone to couples and families wanting to see the most wildlife & geysers thats easily accessible by car and Glacier to the more adventurous couples that want to drive and hike to some of the most beautiful scenery you’ll ever see.
Bri and Tyler have spent quality time in both National Parks and have many recommendations!
Here is a road map giving you an idea how perfectly central Helena is to both Parks. There are two easy access entrances to Glacier (West Glacier and East Glacier), as well as the two closest Entrances to Yellowstone (West Yellowstone and North Entrance). You'll see absolutely breathtaking scenery driving to either Park from Helena.
