Is the reception indoors or outdoors?

Outdoors! We've rented a large tent for our cocktail hour and reception, this way there will be lots of space and room for fun, a fire pit, lawn games, etc.

What kind of food will be served at the reception?

We love, LOVE appetizers and we've always felt like that's the best food at a wedding, so we're having passed hors d'oeuvres and food stations throughout the evening. This means no formal dinner but lots of food all throughout the night.

Are you having an afterparty?

Yes! That's what fire pits are for, stay and hang out at Hunter Lake with us.

Will there be shuttles?

Since we're not doing a traditional room block and most guests are staying at AirBnB's, lake houses, and smaller venues we cannot provide a shuttle, so please make a plan to be safe.

What should I wear?

Cocktail attire, think late summer upscale garden party vibes. Ladies, please wear flats or a low block heel, as we'll be spending lots of time outside on the grass.

Will you be having a full Mass?

Yup! We're in it for the real deal. We're both lifelong Catholics and this is something that is special to us.
