Q + A

Am I expected at the rehearsal dinner?

Only the wedding party and immediate family is invited to the rehearsal dinner.

What is the dress code?

We kindly request that guests dress in formal attire to help us celebrate our special day in style. This dress code is a bit more elegant than semi-formal, but not as formal as black tie. For gentlemen, we suggest a suit and tie or a dark blazer with dress trousers. For ladies, a cocktail dress, a formal midi or knee-length dress, or a dressy evening outfit would be perfect. Think of it as a chance to dress up and add a touch of sophistication, but feel free to skip the tuxedo! We look forward to celebrating with you in style!

What colors should I avoid wearing?

We recommend dressing in colors outside of the wedding theme colors. The bridal party will be wearing dark green. Other wedding colors are champagne, brown, and light green.

What weather should you expect?

Colorado weather in mid-April can be a bit unpredictable, so we recommend being prepared for a range of conditions. While we’re hoping for sunny skies, temperatures can vary from chilly to mild, and there's always a chance of rain or even light snow. Our ceremony will be outdoors weather permitting, but if the forecast looks bad, we'll move everything indoors. We will keep you updated as the day approaches, so you can be prepared for whichever option we choose. For comfort, we suggest dressing in layers and bringing a light jacket or sweater just in case! Whether we’re inside or out, we’re excited to celebrate with you!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Our wedding ceremony will be held outdoors if the weather is nice! However, since Colorado weather in April can be unpredictable, we do have an indoor backup option in case of rain or unfavorable conditions. We’ll be keeping an eye on the forecast and will notify everyone of any changes as the date approaches.

Where is the ceremony and reception?

Both ceremony and reception are held at the same venue.

When is the deadline to RSVP?

Please RSVP by March 1, 2025.

What happens if I miss the RSVP deadline?

If you do not RSVP by March 1, 2025, you will be marked as "Not Attending". We would love celebrating with you, however, we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVP's (This will mean you will have no accommodations on our special day. There will be no seating, drink, or food for you.)

What should I do if I cannot make it?

We completely understand that sometimes circumstances prevent people from attending, and we will miss having you with us! If you are unable to join us on our wedding day, please let us know as soon as possible so we can finalize our plans. You can easily inform us through the RSVP section of our wedding website. For family members who can’t attend but are in the Oklahoma/Texas area, we will have a special Couples' Shower to celebrate with family in the region. Please reach out if you'd like more details about this event—we would love to celebrate with you in person! Thank you for your understanding, and we'll be thinking of you on our big day!

What time should guests arrive?

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM. To ensure a smooth and respectful experience for all, we kindly ask that you arrive at least 20 minutes early. Unfortunately, for the sake of the ceremony, late arrivals will not be able to join in the festivities until after the ceremony finishes. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Is there parking available at the venue?

Yes, there is plenty of parking spots along the hill leading up to the venue. Please be mindful of guests that may have difficulty walking up the hill and leave spots closer to the venue for them.

Will food be provided?

Food will be provided for all the guests that RSVP. It will be served buffet style. If you or a loved one has any dietary restrictions, please provide that information with your RSVP.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Yes, if you or a loved one has any dietary restrictions, please provide that info with your RSVP.

Are children invited?

The children that are invited are included in the guest list when you go to RSVP. If we missed one of your little ones please reach out to us!

Can I bring a plus one?

Plus ones are specified for certain guests on their invitations. Guests included in your party will be listed out when you RSVP. If you have a guest that you think should come, please reach out to us.

Are there any hotel blocks?

Please refer to the "Lodging" tab of our website. Here you can find more information about a hotel block.

Are you allowed to take photos at the wedding?

We love that you want to capture the memories of our special day! To keep the ceremony as intimate and distraction-free as possible, we kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. However, we’d be thrilled for you to take photos before and after the ceremony, as well as during the reception. We’ll also have a professional photographer capturing all the important moments, so you can relax and enjoy the day without worrying about missing anything! Thank you for helping us create a beautiful and meaningful experience.

Where should you bring/send your wedding gift?

We are so grateful for your generosity! On the day of the wedding, we will have a designated area at the venue where you can bring your gift. If you prefer to shop from our Amazon registry, the gifts will be sent directly to our address, which makes it super easy for us to receive. Thank you so much for celebrating with us—we truly appreciate your love and support!

Is it okay to buy a wedding gift not found on the registry?

Yes! Any gifts are greatly appreciated. The registry is meant to help make shopping easy, however it is not exclusive. The goal is to help guests gain an understanding of some things we need!
