Make a visit to Idaho Springs, a short drive up into the mountains. Tommy Knockers is a great restaurant to visit after walking along Miner Street in Idaho Springs!

Drive up to Georgetown and ride the train! There are stops along the train ride where you can tour some old mines and pan for gold. Downtown Georgetown is a gorgeous and quaint place to visit!
