A wedding isn’t just about two people, it’s about bringing together two families, two histories, and all the incredible people who have shaped our lives. We are so lucky to be surrounded by friends and family who have supported us, laughed with us, and stood by our sides through it all. Each of these people holds a special place in our hearts, and we couldn’t imagine celebrating this day without them. Meet the amazing group standing with us as we start this next chapter together!
Maids of Honor
Maura Mullins - Maid of Honor
Maura is not only my older sister but one of my biggest supporters. She is kind, determined, and always keeps me on my toes. We’ve shared so many memories together, from childhood antics to traveling to Vegas for a New Found Glory concert. Maura is truly one of a kind! She’s never afraid to be herself, whether it’s rocking bold hair colors or accessorizing like a pro. I’m constantly inspired by the way she moves through the world unapologetically herself. One quirk we share is we both go all out throwing extravagant birthday parties for our pets (because they deserve it of course!!) Her uniqueness and authenticity make her so special, and I’m incredibly grateful to have her standing by my side on my wedding day!
Kara Sipes - Matron of Honor
Kara is my oldest sister, and she is someone I’ve always looked up to. She’s a firefighter, proving that she’s as tough as they come, but she also has the best sense of style and is known for her amazing shoe collection. I’ve always admired how she balances being both incredibly girly and completely badass. On top of that, Kara is a dog lover, just like me! Her pups are her babies, and it’s something we’ve always shared. In fact, she’s the reason I became a dachshund mom in the first place! When I was a young child, Kara gave our family my very first wiener dog, Fritz. Now, I’m the proud owner of two adorable dachshunds, and it all started with her. I couldn’t imagine this day without her by my side!
Bridesmaids
Michelle Waybright - Bridesmaid
Michelle isn’t just my cousin, she’s more like a sister. Life has brought us even closer over the years, and I’m beyond grateful for her support, humor, and strength. We always find a way to laugh together, whether it's sending memes or watching The Kardashians (our guilty pleasure!). She’s also the life of the party! She's always down for a good time, and I absolutely love that about her. She’s wild (in the best way), and her energy is contagious. She is someone I can always count on, and I’m so happy she’s part of my bridal party!
Allison Faro - Bridesmaid
Allison is the best friend I could ever ask for. We bonded over our love of theatre, and she’s been a huge part of my life ever since. Whether we were rehearsing lines or goofing off backstage, she always made every moment fun. She has truly shown me the meaning of friendship, and I cherish her so much. Through the rough times, she has always been there checking in on me, cheering me up, and reminding me I’m never alone. I will never forget how she showed up for me on my hardest days, so I couldn’t imagine celebrating the best day of my life without her by my side!
Olivia Jenkins - Bridesmaid
Olivia and I go way back to our Girl Scout days. We grew up together and she has always been an amazing friend! On top of that, I am so incredibly proud of the mother she has become. She pours so much of herself into it, and it’s clear how deeply she loves and cares for her children. We also just get each other. There’s something so rare and comforting about having someone in your life who doesn’t need you to explain how your brain works because theirs works the same way. With Olivia, I can talk freely, jumping from one topic to the next and she’s right there with me. I can talk to her for hours and never feel out of sync. She also played a huge role in bringing two of the biggest joys into my life, my wiener dogs, Mr. Meatball and Ivy! Her pups, Miller and Hazel, are their parents. I’m beyond grateful to have Olivia standing beside me and celebrating on this special day. Her friendship is one of the most genuine and lasting parts of my life, and I treasure it deeply.
Lindsay Bechtold - Bridesmaid
Lindsay is Zach's sister and my soon-to-be sister-in-law! She is strong, sassy, and always speaks her mind, qualities I truly admire. As a dedicated high school teacher, she brings passion and commitment to everything she does. We've shared some great memories, including a trip to Nashville for her spring break. I’m excited to officially call her family and for all the moments still to come!
Rachel Jacobs - Bridesmaid
Rachel is my childhood best friend, and I truly can’t imagine my life without her. From playing in our neighborhood as kids to navigating adulthood, she has always been by my side. She is a woman of God, and I have always admired her dedication to her faith. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering belief make her such a special person, and I’m so grateful to have her as part of my wedding day!
Best Men
Thomas Haines - Best Man
Zach and Thomas have been friends since they were seven years old, which means they’ve basically grown up together. More than just best friends, they’re like brothers. Always gaming, always laughing, causing chaos, and always there for each other. As the Dungeon Master of our D&D group, Thomas keeps the adventures going, both in and out of the game.
He’s also the kind of guy who shows up ready to work. If there’s something to build, put together, or figure out, he’s there with a toolbox and a “let’s get it done” attitude. They say it takes a village, and Thomas has always been part of Zach’s. We couldn’t imagine this day without him standing by Zach’s side!
John Mayer - Best Man
Zach met John on their college baseball team, and they are more than just teammates, they’re brothers. From the dugout to their apartment, they spent their college years as roommates, playing Ultimate Frisbee, debating movies, and building the kind of friendship that lasts a lifetime.
John is the kind of friend who shows up, no matter what. He’s been there for Zach through every season of life, and we’re incredibly grateful to have him standing by our side on such an important day. This wedding wouldn’t feel complete without him, and we’re beyond lucky to call him family.
Groomsmen
Neil Mullins - Groomsmen
Neil isn’t just my brother, he’s my best friend. He has always been there for me, supporting me in more ways than I can count. I truly have him to thank for shaping so much of who I am. My taste in music, my favorite movies, and even my sense of humor all came from growing up with him. He introduced me to the things I love and helped me become the person I am today, and I can’t thank him enough for that. One of our favorite things to do together is see Blink-182 in concert. We’ve gone three times already and have tickets for a fourth! It’s our thing, and every show is a blast. This past year alone, we went on an unforgettable trip to Las Vegas, where we attended the When We Were Young music festival and made so many amazing memories. Whether we’re laughing until we cry or having deep talks, there’s no one I’m closer to. I honestly don’t know anyone who has the kind of bond we do with their sibling, he’s just the best. Neil has always been my biggest supporter, and I couldn’t be more grateful for everything he does for me. I’m so honored to have him standing by my side on my wedding day.
Kyle Eby - Groomsmen
Kyle is Zach's cousin. They grew up as neighbors, teammates, and childhood friends. Baseball was their first shared passion, but over the years, their bond has extended to gaming sessions and a mutual love of Star Wars. Whether it was playing outside as kids or battling it out in video games now, they’ve always found ways to have fun together. We’re glad to have Kyle as part of our wedding day, standing alongside Zach.
Aaron Haines - Groomsmen
Aaron and Zach grew up as neighbors, with their friendship evolving over the years from childhood hangouts to D&D campaigns and everything in between. He’s the kind of guy who will show up when you need a hand, whether it was helping Zach get the house together or just being a solid friend. But don’t let the “manly” persona fool you, Aaron is also well-spoken and writes the best, most thoughtful cards. We’re lucky to have him standing with us on our big day!
Preston Pieffer - Groomsmen
Preston and Zach’s friendship is built on the essentials—D&D, video games, and an endless exchange of memes. Whether they’re teaming up in a game or cracking jokes at the table, their bromance is undeniable. Preston has been a solid part of the crew, always bringing the fun and plenty of laughs. We’re excited to have him standing with us on our big day!
Jaime Simpson - Groomsmen
Jaime is my nephew… but since he’s eight years older than me, our dynamic has always been more like cousins or siblings. Despite the age gap, we’ve always gotten along great, and if there’s one thing you can count on with Jaime, it’s that he will say just about anything. He’s the kind of guy who thrives on chaos, always ready with a joke (or a completely unhinged comment just for the shock factor). But that’s what makes him hilarious, you never know what he’s going to say next.
What’s even scarier? How well he and Zach get along. Seriously, it’s like they share a brain sometimes. Whether they’re cracking jokes, talking about the most random things, or hyping up their favorite wrestlers, they just get each other. Having Jaime as part of our wedding is a no-brainer, we wouldn’t want to celebrate without him!
Flower Girl
Mikayla Sipes - Flower Girl
While traditionally a role for little ones, our flower girl is anything but! At 25 years old, she is my niece and Kara’s stepdaughter. She came into my life when I was just 9 years old, and from that moment on, she has been family. Her kindness and humor have made a lasting impact, and there’s no one better to sprinkle petals and bring extra joy to this special day!
Parents of the Couple
Linda Mullins - Mother of the Bride
I’m endlessly grateful for everything my mom has done for me. She’s strong, caring, and has always found a way to show love. From the special touches she put into my childhood birthday parties to the support she’s given during wedding planning, she’s been an important part of this journey. I’m thankful to have her by my side as I step into this new chapter.
Thomas Mullins - Father of the Bride
My dad is my heart and I cherish all the laughter and love we’ve shared. His sense of humor, kindness, and steady presence have shaped so much of who I am. Whether it was cracking jokes, cheering me on, or just being there with a warm hug, he’s always known how to make me feel safe and loved. Having him walk me down the aisle is something I’ve dreamed of and I’m so glad that day is finally here.
Lisa Eby - Mother of the Groom
Lisa’s love for Zach shines through in everything she does. She’s thoughtful, supportive, and always looking out for him whether it’s with a phone call to check in or going the extra mile to make sure he’s okay. She’s been welcoming to me from the start, and I’ve always appreciated the care and kindness she shows. We’re lucky to have her as part of this journey.
Scott Bechtold - Father of the Groom
Zach and his dad are two peas in a pod! Whether they’re talking about the Phillies or Eagles, hitting the golf course, or just sharing that classic father-son bond that doesn’t need a lot of words to be meaningful. They’re a lot alike in the best ways, and it’s easy to see how much Zach looks up to him. I’m so thankful for the role Scott has played in shaping the man I’m marrying, and it means a lot to have him with us on this special day.
Officiant
Pastor Stephen P. Verkouw - Officiant
Zach and I feel incredibly blessed to have Pastor Stephen Verkouw officiate our wedding. He is the pastor at Grace Lutheran Church in Lancaster, where we attend together, making this even more special. His guidance and support have meant so much to us, and we are honored to have him play such an important role in our big day.
Butterfly Girls
While I couldn’t have endless bridesmaids, I wanted to honor three dear friends in a special way. Together, we share matching butterfly tattoos, a symbol of transformation, growth, and our unbreakable bond. To celebrate this, they will release butterflies during our first kiss, a moment that beautifully represents love taking flight.
