The nightly rate, with the newlyweds' discount code, amounts to $189.00 per night, plus a 12% occupancy fee, 4% TID fee, and a $35 nightly resort fee (Pricing include parking). Upon booking, one night's rate plus taxes will be charged to your credit card, which is fully refundable up to 72 hours prior to the date you have booked. ASAP. As you may know, South Lake Tahoe is a very popular destination for many events and activities (ESPECIALLY in Summer), so the popular hotels and lodging sites book up quickly. The newlyweds have a block of the hotel blocked off so our guests get first priority booking those rooms, until all outside rooms have been booked - then the resort will begin booking into our block. Please note, this is a highly popular and well-loved resort. It is highly recommended you book ASAP to secure a spot lakeside and/or near the newlyweds.

Upon booking with Beach Retreat & Lodge, you will be charged a single night's rate plus tax to secure the reservation. All amounts paid will be refunded in full upon request up to 72 hours prior to the event.

We are recommending, if you have the time, to book from June 6 - June 9. There will be a welcome family dinner the night of June 6 and a Wedding Weekend Farewell Brunch the morning of June 9.

The average temperature in South Lake Tahoe in June is sunny but moderately chilly, with an average high of 75 degrees to a low of 47 degrees. If you like swimming, don't forget to bring your swimsuit!

Recommended dress: Business casual, cocktail attire, semi-formal, or formal (if you desire). The venue is casual but nice, the ceremony and reception will both be outdoors, lakeside in the Sierra Mountains. You will want to dress warm for the evening, as the reception will run until 10:00 p.m. Blankets and firepits will also be provided.

Yes. A professional photographer has been hired for the ceremony and first three (3) hours of the reception (6-9pm). Family photos will be scheduled for immediately after the wedding ceremony, which is expected to end around 5:35 p.m. Doors for the reception open at 6:00 p.m., so family photographs will run from 5:35 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Gifts are entirely optional, as your presence is a gift, in itself. In lieu of "things", we have a link on our website for our HoneyFund to raise funds for our honeymoon to Bali scheduled for April of 2025. Donations are welcomed but not expected! :)
