Callie and Joel met in January 2022 in Santa Fe, New Mexico and hit it off immediately! While dating they enjoyed exploring new trails around town, trying out new restaurants in Santa Fe and Albuquerque, and Joel even got Callie out on the ski hill for the first time. After a while, Joel made the move to Santa Fe and purchased a house.

Now, a year later, Callie and Joel live together in their home with Olive, the prettiest cat in New Mexico, and their two loving and crazy dogs, Tilly and Biscuit. They still enjoy trying out restaurants in Santa Fe, visiting multiple times to try out and rate each dish, documenting the experience in the notes app on Callie's phone. Tilly and Biscuit keep them busy with doggy obedience classes, hikes, and trips to the dog park.

Joel proposed to Callie on June 23, 2023 after a romantic date back to the places they went when they first started dating. The date ended with a trip to 10,000 waves, a Japanese spa in the mountains, where Joel had a photographer and a beautiful display of flowers waiting for their arrival. Callie gladly accepted and the wedding planning began!
