Transportation

Traveling from Albuquerque to Santa Fe

We strongly recommend flying into Albuquerque, and finding transportation to Santa Fe.

Options include:

Uber/Lyft

Uber and Lyft are fairly reliable in Albuquerque, and NOT as reliable in Santa Fe. Please schedule your return trip in advance.

Rail Runner

The Rail Runner is the train that goes from Albuquerque to Santa Fe. There is a bus that goes from the ABQ airport to the train station.

Private Shuttle

We recommend scheduling in advance and contacting your hotel for potential discounts.

See Below for very detailed instructions

BUS/TRAIN:

Take the Route 50 bus (or Uber) from the airport to the closest Rail Runner stop, the Downtown ABQ stop at the Alvarado Transportation Center (ATC). Then take the northbound train up to Santa Fe and get off at your appropriate stop. When purchasing a train ticket, it is “5 zones” from Downtown ABQ to Santa Fe. Please see if you qualify for a Reduced Fair, as 60+ qualify for the reduced rate and veterans ride free (thank you for your service).
