LA SIESTA ESPAÑOLA Y CUÁNDO COMER

We have all heard of the Spanish siesta and how different Mediterranean life can be, so it is good to consider some things. Breakfast time in Spain is around 10:00. Valencia is the birthplace of paella but keep in mind that Paella is eaten for lunch. Restaurants are open for lunch from 13:00 until 16:00. Afterwards, they close their kitchens and only serve drinks. Dinner is eaten after 20:00, if you start getting hungry before that, it might be difficult to find a nice place to eat that is open. Consider these points when planning where and when to eat, we recommend making reservations, especially for dinner. Restaurants are quite friendly for English-speaking people.

Todos conocemos la siesta española y es bueno tomarla en cuenta cuando se trata de comer. El desayuno español es alrededor de las 10:00 am. Valencia es la cuna de la paella y es un plato que se come en el almuerzo, los restaurantes abren para el servicio de la comida (así se le llama al almuerzo) alrededor de las 1:00 pm hasta las 4:00 pm. Luego las cocinas de los restaurantes cierran y solo sirven bebidas. La cena se sirve a partir de las 8:00 pm. Consideren eso para planificar donde y cuando comer, siempre es recomendable llamar para hacer reservas, especialmente para la cena.
