Valencia Airport
The easiest way is to travel to Valencia Airport. It is a small airport and easy to get around. Valencia´s airport has a subway line that takes you to the city center in 25 minutes and it is very well connected. But if you do not find good rates, you can also travel to the Alicante, Barcelona, Madrid or Malaga Airports and take a train or bus from there to Valencia (Renfe for trains and Alsa for Buses).

La forma más fácil de viajar es hacerlo directamente al Aeropuerto de Valencia. El Aeropuerto de Valencia es pequeño y fácil, cuenta con una estación del metro ubicada dentro de sus instalaciones desde la cual se puede llegar al centro de Valencia en tan solo 25 minutos. Pero si no encuentran buenas tarifas, también pueden desplazarse hasta los Aeropuertos de Alicante, Barcelona, Madrid o Málaga y desde allí tomar un tren o bus hasta Valencia (Renfe para los trenes y Alsa para los autobuses).
HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE CITY CENTER?
¿CÓMO IR DESDE EL AEROPUERTO AL CENTRO DE LA CIUDAD?
2 lines communicate the Airport with different parts of the city. At the airport terminal, access the metro station on the ground floor (arrivals). You can take: Línea L3 (red - roja): Rafelbunyol - Aeroport Línea L5 (green – verde): Marítim Serrería - Aeroport. Keep in mind that Valencia´s central metro station is Called Angel Guimerá, it is the one you will use if you stay in the city center. If you prefer to take a taxi, we recommend using the FREE NOW or Cabify taxi application for better rates. If you take a taxi anywhere at the airport or the city, you will most likely pay more than you should.

Hay 2 líneas que comunican al aeropuerto con diferentes puntos de la ciudad. La estación de Metro se accede por la planta 0 de la terminal del aeropuerto. Línea L3 (red - roja): Rafelbunyol - Aeroport Línea L5 (green – verde): Marítim Serrería – Aeroport. Tengan en cuenta que la estación central de metro de Valencia se llama Ángel Guimerá, es la que utilizarán si se alojan en el centro de la ciudad. Si prefieren tomar un taxi, les recomendamos utilizar la aplicación de taxis FREE NOW o Cabify para obtener mejores tarifas. Si toman un taxi en cualquier lugar del aeropuerto o de la ciudad, lo más probable es que paguen más de lo que deberían.
Metrovalencia
We always use Google Maps to search for metro stations, departure times and lines but Metrovalencia also has a not-so-friendly but bit more accurate app (also in english).
Metrovalencia works with zone prices. The city center is zone A. The central metro station is called Angel Guimerá. You can buy single, two-way, bonometro (10 rides) or the Valencia tourist card. The amount you pay is calculated according to the zones you will use. The airport station is in zone D and you can get the tickets at the station. There is an information office close to the metro entrance at the airport and the webpage can be read in English.

Recomendamos usar Google Maps para buscar estaciones e información sobre las líneas y horarios del metro, tambien hay pueden user la app Metrovalencia que nos es tan amigable pero un poco mas precisa con los horarios. Metrovalencia tiene un sistema de tarifas por zona. El centro de Valencia es la zona A y la estación central del metro se llama Angel Guimerá. Hay billetes sencillo, Ida y Vuelta, tarjeta Bonometro (10 viajes) y la tarjeta Valencia Tourist Card. Hay una oficina de información cerca de la entrada del metro del aeropuerto.

The city center has plenty of places to eat, museums and landmarks. You can find neighbourhoods in the old town like El Carme and El Mercat. La'example is also a good area with a lot of restaurants and shops and Ruzafa is always full of life. Airbnb, booking.com and HomeAway are always good options to check both for hotel and rental apartments.

El centro de la ciudad tiene muchas opciones para comer, museos y lugares históricos. Pueden buscar hospedaje en la Ciutat Vella en áreas como El Carme y El Mercat. La'example es un área con tiendas y restaurante y Ruzafa siempre está llena de vida. Airbnb, booking.com y homeaway siempre son buenas opciones tanto para hoteles, como para apartamentos de alquiler.

El Hotel de lujo y 5 estrellas Palacio Vallier es un palacete del siglo XIX situado en la zona más bella del casco antiguo de Valencia. Durante la rehabilitación se descubrieron los restos de una perfumería romana del siglo III. Right in front of the beach with a very nice rooftop terrace and they offer to pick you up at the airport. Good option to stay close to the beach and get your tan going.
