Our Wedding

On the evening of February 15th, 2020, Matt Orr attended the IU Barristers Ball in Indianapolis. He was introduced to Carolyn Wilmes by mutual friends. Matt and Carolyn started to conversate, which unfolded into a night filled with laughter, shared stories, and dancing. Matt and Carolyn exchanged phone numbers at the end of the night. Little did they know, this meeting marked the beginning of a beautiful connection that would develop over time.&nbsp; It took Matt four months to convince Carolyn to go on their first date at Urban Vines (a local winery) on June 11, 2020. They continued dating for the following years; traveling, meeting friends and family, and got engaged on January 20th ,2023 in Carolyn’s condo. Carolyn and Matt can’t wait to celebrate their love with all of you on April 27th, 2024!&nbsp;

Carolyn's high school best friend to now neighbors in Indianapolis! Haley is currently in med school at Marian University where she plans to specialize in pediatrics. Fun fact: Haley has a twin sister, Mallory, but growing up when the 3 of them would hang out, people would think Haley and Carolyn were the twins.

Carolyn's first college friend! She also played softball with Carolyn at Ball State and was one of her college roommates. Amanda currently lives in Northern Indiana with her husband, Tyler, sweet baby Benjamin, and big ole golden retriever, Sophie!

One of Carolyn's college softball teammates. Maddy was one of Carolyn's consistent catchers and was her neighbor in college as well! Maddy currently lives in California but makes frequent visits back to Indiana. Maddy loves coffee, workout classes, and breweries.
