Is there a dress code?

Yes! For both the ceremony and reception, we are requesting cocktail attire. A suit is preferred for men, while women should opt for a cocktail dress or formal jumpsuit.

Can I bring a plus one?

Given the constraints of our venue/budget, we have had to make some difficult decisions regarding our guest list. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate all plus ones for guests. If you received a plus one, it will be listed on your RSVP card.

What is the parking situation?

For the ceremony: There is street parking along the church that is free! I recommend coming early so you can get a close spot. There is a small parking lot behind the church/ school that you can utilize as well. For the reception: There is a parking lot behind the building. It is completely free and you can leave your car overnight!

Are children invited?

Similar to plus ones, given the constraints of our venue/budget, we have had to make some difficult decisions regarding our guest list. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate all children. If your children are invited, it will be listed on your RSVP card.

What accommodations are available for out-of-town guests?

Please view our "travel" tab on our website to find our hotels with our wedding blocks. You will have to reserve a room by 3/27/24 to be included in the block. Both hotels are about 1 mile away from the reception hall.

What to do after ceremony but before cocktail hour?

The wedding ceremony should end around 3:30pm and you are able to attend cocktail hour starting at 5pm. The distance from the church to the reception hall is about 15 minutes. Things we recommend doing during the small gap: - check into hotel, if you haven't! The Embassy Suites does have a bar located in the lobby. - For other ideas, check out some of our favorite places listed in the "things to do" tab!

What time is the ceremony?

Our ceremony will begin at 2:30 pm EST at St. Joan of Arc. Please be seated by 2:15 pm! Indianapolis is on Eastern Standard Time for all of our guests coming from out of town. Our ceremony will be a 30+ minute drive from the hotels downtown, so please save enough time to get to the church, find parking, and be seated by 2:15.

Will travel accommodations be provided for ceremony or reception?

Please plan to drive yourself to our ceremony at St. Joan of Arc! It is about a 30 minute drive depending on traffic from downtown Indianapolis where the hotels are. Also, most hotels downtown have valet parking or attached parking garages, so please save time to get your car from valet as well. For the reception, you are able to leave your car parked overnight if you want to go that route, but we do recommend utilizing uber or lyft as well!
