Rocky Mountain National Park

One of the most beautiful places in Colorado, we highly recommend spending some time in Rocky Mountain National Park. Notable wildlife include elk, moose, bears, big horn sheep, wolves, and more. Elk rutting season should be nearly over in late October, but please make sure you give all wildlife plenty of distance. We'd like the wedding to be the talk of the weekend, not someone getting charged by a bull elk.

Outdoor Activities

While not organized directly through the wedding, there are fishing trips, ATVs, photography tours, guided hikes, etc. available. If you are interested in getting a group activity together, please let Casey and Joe know and we are happy to see who else is interested in going along.

Hauntings at the Stanley Hotel

Check out the historic Stanley Hotel which gave Steven King such terrible nightmares, it inspired the Shining. The hotel often hosts paranormal story telling, tours, and special events. Check their calendar for more information. https://www.stanleyhotel.com/
