We will be hosting a bbq to allow people to mingle and get more time with us while in the Gorge. Beacon Rock State Park is on the Washington side. The shelter is "Upper Shelter 1" and has parking immediately adjacent. The facility is accessible. We will have standard bbq fare to cover the standard vegan, veg, meat eater options. Please note the park does require a Discovery Pass which allows parking in all Washington State Parks. These are $10 for a day pass, or $30 annually. Carpooling highly encouraged though there is parking for 40 cars at the shelter. If you are semi-local, bring your camp chair. We updated the time because the park now closes at 8. Come whenever works for you, but we will be there before 3 to get things started. We have the shelter all day, so feel free to use it for a brown bag lunch earlier in the day if you’re exploring the park.
