Aughrim is a small village in County Wicklow, Ireland. According to the Irish census of 2016, the division had a population of 1,442. In addition to winning the title of the "Tidiest Small Town in Ireland" in 2006 and again in 2009, Aughrim also struck gold in the European-wide "Entente-Florale" competition in 2007. In Irish, Aughrim or Eachroim literally translates to "horse ridge."
