With less than 12 months until our wedding day we are now able to get some of the logistical details to you all.

Flights

The majority of you I'd imagine will be looking to fly from London into Puglia. The cheapest way to do so is to travel from London Stanstead into Bari with RyanAir, and to book these as two separate outbound and inbound flights rather than a return. Please check on Skyscanner or your preferred comparison site to make sure you are getting the best deal.

There are lots of alternatives, you can fly with EasyJet from Gatwick return and possibly other UK airports, you can also look to fly into Brindisi which is equidistant but is currently coming in more expensive.

As with all flights, the prices fluctuate so please bear this in mind when booking.

Transfer

We have not currently made transfer arrangements as a lot of people have mentioned that they would like to explore the area and will be looking into hiring a car. You can use all the usual channels to book vehicle rental but I would not neccessarily recommend Noleggiare as although they are the cheapest, we have had problems with them in the past.

If it seems that the majority of people are going to be on the same flights we will look into booking a coach transfer so we will keep in touch with everyone about this.

Villa Cenci - Relais Masseria - Cisternino (BR)

We have purposefully chosen a venue that will accommodate all of our guests as we want you all to be with us for the duration of the wedding 'week'. The price per person is £280, children under 4 stay for free, just let us know if you need us to arrange a cot in the room.

Please don't contact the hotel to pay for your stay, they have asked us to coordinate the payments so we will share our account details at the end of this message - please make sure to let us know when you have sent the monies to avoid any confusion. To avoid a full-blown Bridezilla transformation we ask that this payment is made by 27th May 2025 at the latest. If you'd like to pay in instalments then we are more than happy to keep a record.

Extending Your Stay

A lot of you have talked about extending your stay and if you have the means we highly recommend doing so. Puglia is a stunning region and there is lots to explore.

Things To Do

Surrounding areas that we think you might enjoy include; Alberobello, Ostuni and Matera. Driving and parking in these areas is easy enough although you will struggle to get around without a car as this part of Puglia is quite rural.

There is a safari park and water park within driving distance, as well as a number of beaches. You can book onto dining / cooking experiences in the area although in our experience all the food in this region is good so maybe not neccessary.

We have visited Ostuni market which is a lovely day out and a great way to explore the local town.
